THis is a great product! It is worth every penny and it is not only stylish and practical, but the color wood matches exactly with my bedroom set. It did take some time to put together, but it is sturdy and looks great with my 26" vizio. I am very happy I bought this.
Good product. No disappointments other than the stickers all over the pieces which were difficult to remove - was successful removing stickers using wd 40. Difficult to put together. Very time consuming and not for the faint of heart. But, overall the unit is very sturdy and a good value for the price.
This cabinet is high quality wood and looks beautiful at a bargain price. It's a cross between cherry and walnut in color with a beautiful finish. I am extremely pleased with the quality. It does take 2-3 hrs to assemble with 2 people, but for the price, it's worth it! It' perfect for my 37" flatscreen TV.
It took me a total of 3-4 hours to put together, but the end result is gorgeous. I'm not extremely carpentry-saavy but the instructions were pretty easy to follow (except for the part about screwing the sliders to the drawer panels). Everyone that has seen the unit has given me compliments. It's a dark cherry color and compliments the other furniture in my living room nicely. It's a perfect size and height for my 37" flatscreen. I love the glass doors, and the drawer is great for hiding CD's and DVDs. The weight of the unit is substantial and the materials are solid; definitely not flimsy construction. The only downside is it costs a lot for having to put it together yourself. Also, it's pretty heavy; you will definitely need assistance carrying the box.
this piece really does look more substantial than what you'd expect to get from wal-mart and what you'd expect from a piece of furniture that needs to be fully assembled. It does take quite awhile to assemble but it's totally worth it. I wasn't so crazy about the hardware (knobs) but I bought some more traditional style knobs and it completely changed the look of the whole piece. I almost ordered the stand from another (much more upscale) website but did a last minute search and found it on walmart.com. Also - we did the in store pick up (and it was very easy) to skip the high delivery charge. the drawer is nice and deep enough to store dvds or cd's.
This is a heavy piece of furniture. I had it shipped to the store to avoid shipping costs, and the associate needed my help to get into the car. It looks great, and is nice when put together. The instructions are vague, and it took a long time to put together.
The only negative is the length of time it took to assemble...about 3hrs, by my husband who is very good at that sort of thing. The doors do have a bit of a gap in the center but I'm not sure if that is just a design feature or a flaw! Either way it really is not an issue and is going to be unseen for the most part in a spare bedroom. I was very pleased with the overall look. Used site to store to avoid shipping.
This tv stand is nice and I am pleased with the quality. Although, it took my husband almost 3 hours to put it together correctly and the manufacturer put a big sticker on the top of the stand that is almost impossible to remove. I have a big white patch on the wood that I am still trying to get off without damaging the wood itself. It looks horrible with this sticker. They should have put this sticker on a part of the tv stand that you could not see instead of directly on the top!
This product took about 4 hours to build, and while the end result was a sophisticated-looking TV stand, I was disappointed by the fact that the main table piece and the drawer were delivered to me with rather obvious chips in the wood. I also had trouble getting one of the doors to align with the other, so one of the cabinet doors looks a bit off center.
I never really got a chance to put this cabinet together because as I took the parts out most of them were damaged,either gouged, scratched, or chunks of paint/wood were peeled off. I noticed that the box had alot of extra tape around it and the styrofoam and sheets diving the pieces were broken or torn. Its as if the product had previously been purchased and returned as damaged. I reutrned it back at the store and opted not to replace it.
