This hutch is extremely heavy. Had a hard time just getting it in my front door. I feel bad for whoever delivered it. I think it said it was around 100 lbs. It has quality materials but you will need a 2nd person to lift it. I love it though! Looks very nice and holds together just fine. Not a cheap and flimsy product :)
I bought this hutch to go with the desk that is part of the same product line. The hutch is very sturdy, looks great, and is an excellent value. It provides quite a bit of extra storage space for office supplies. It took me a few hours to put the hutch together, but assembly was not difficult. However, most of the assembly instructions show only pictures and part numbers; some words of explanation would have been helpful in a few places. Also, the hutch is fairly heavy, so help is needed in lifting it onto the desk. (I waited until it was in place before I attached the glass doors.)
Beautiful, high quality desk. Extremely long-time to assemble.
The desk is beautiful and even bigger than we imagined. Our expectations were met in the desk's appearance. But the directions and packaging of the thing were ROUGH. It's taken us 4 days to put it together. Usually in instruction manuals they shade edges or rough sides, but not this one. The screws in the pictures all look the same so you have to keep going back to the front of the manual to recheck what you have. 3 brackets broke in the first 20 minutes of labor. We are waiting on those to be sent so we can finish the drawers. There are no "written" instructions, only pictures which is probably fantastic for a strictly visual person (which I am not). There are many packages of hardware, none of which were labeled. MOST of the desk pieces were labeled (not all). There were soooo many pieces and the assembly was so intensive that I hope we never have to purchase another desk ever. I rated it 3 stars simply because the assembly was so difficult.
My husband and I began to assemble the desk only to discover several parts were missing. We only have the top part. This is not what I paid for.
Very misleading! This is only for the hutch and not the entire desk. They need to remove the main photograph and replace it with the second photograph of just the hutch alone so consumers aren't mislead into thinking they are purchasing the entire desk/hutch. Now I am in the process of trying to cancel it before it arrives and I don't even know if I can. So disappointed!
Was only the top had to buy the rest of the desk why dont you price it out as one ?

The picture shows the desk in one piece and in small words it does say "desk sold separately" however I didn't notice that looking at paying around $300 for a desk I had to build I just figured it was just how it was pictured. The hutch only arrived and thinking the rest was coming in a separate order I opened it. The glass was all broken and I still decided to build it figured I would call for new doors while waiting on the desk section. The holes were all lined up wrong and it finally all broke apart while trying to assemble. I called and was told they would send out all six new pieces that were defective (missing holes, not lined up with screw holes, etc.). The girl sounded like this happened all the time, just poorly made furniture and sending out replacements. I asked when the desk section would be delivered and she said that didn't get shipped from them so she wasn't sure. I am now trying to find a box to return it all as the entire product would cost over $900 and they are out of stock on the desk section in this color anyway.
The company given a very misleading product. The pictures and price are being shown for full L desk but you get only the hutch.
