I highly recommend this scope for anyone and what's better is the price! We bought this for my Pap (70) who has trouble with his eyes. He needed something that really brought in the light and gave him the big, clear picture. This scope does just that. Being a dusk to dawn it draws in so much more light, allowing for longer hunting times and clearer views for your best shot. His reaction when he pulled it up and looked through it Christmas morning in our living room was GHEEZ! He said it was so crisp and bright and it looked like you were sitting in front of a big screen TV. When I need a new scope, this will be the route I take as well.
Ultimately I would like a better scope in the $200 price range. This would include a larger range of magnification, and a more desirable cross hairs in the view. However the quality of this scope is good for this price point and product specifications. This scope is clear and the eye relief is good compared to other scopes I've tried. I have a friend that used the lifetime warranty last year on a similar Bushnell scope, that he owned for 10 years. For a $10 shipping charge, he received a replacement scope of slightly better value.
I believe a person would need to spend a lot more money to get a better scope. It works great.
Bought this scope for my 3006. Clear optics with easy focus. Zeroed in good, can't wait to go hunting. You can't beat it for the money.
I have used a Bushnell Banner Dusk/Dawn scope on a rifle for years. I recently purchased a new rifle and decided to use a Bushnell Banner scope on it as well. Never had any problems. Performs great.
My husband said this is the best scope he has ever owned! Really good price too!
