Super happy with this purchase. All my retro video game consoles (Super NES, Sega genesis, etc) I recently switched out SCART cables for component cables by HD Retrovision for convenience. With this switch box, I am able to display my super nes on my big screen through my scaler, and my Sega genesis to my CRT, or have both TVs displaying my 32x or Sega Saturn at once. And I can change anything output I want on either TV with a simple button press on a remote. Highly recommend this for your component video needs.
Switching from a number of cameras with the touch of a finger, the price was outstanding. So far after a number of uses I have not found one single thing that I don't like about it.
This device is a must for anyone who uses component video. My receiver only has a couple component inputs yet I have a PS2, XBOX360, Wii, an HTPC, Cable Box, and an Oppo DVD player that I need to connect. This thing handles them all in one box then I just use one input to connect this to my receiver. On top of that, this allowed me to finally get a projector for truly big screen action while keeping everything hooked up to my TV as well. Although I dont really use the feature too often, one of the coolest things about this is the matrix functionality so I can have a DVD going on one display and be able to play an XBOX game on another all while having everything neatly tucked away in my cabinet. If I decide I want to switch it up or change inputs its as simple as the touch of a button.
Great for switching between devices on my 5.1 THX Surround System!!
I used the product to setup a cable box, DVD player, and 2.1 channel HT system between a TV in a living room and a kitchen TV. The component matrix was very easy to install with all the equipment, it fits well on the equipment rack it was installed within, and for the past two or so weeks, there have been zero problems with how it works. I would recommend this to both the Home Theater installer looking for this type of solution and to the regular customer who wants something easy to use and hook-up.
I use this device to select inputs in our video production studio. It allows me to preview a live feed from the camera on our large lcd screen and our capture device simultaneously. This allows us to get better focus and lighting settings using a large monitor. Then I can also use it to send a feed from our Blu-Ray player to either the large screen or capture device or both. Very handy device and rock solid quality.
