Refrigerator is fine, although a little small. But this was the best option given the space I had to work with
I saw the Cafe product 3 years ago and fell in love with them. I knew that when it came time to upgrade by kitchen, this would be the product I wanted. Today, they are installed and my kitchen is gorgeous. I purchased them in white with copper pulls. I couldn't be happier with how easy they are to operate and use. Totally satisfied
The refrigerator is very well made with extra features such as Rubbermaid covers for the shelves in the doors. There is a lot of storage space. The exterior has a very nice look.
After a little bit of a hick up with delivery from Lowe's for my refrigerator. I actually love the appliance to clean lines and that everything is inside versus an exterior components .. I actually love the appliance the clean lines, and that everything is inside versus an exterior component for ice and water. This is a great appliance so far and I plan on getting the rest of the café brand from GE.
We've only had it for one day, but LOVE being able to access all the fridge, esp produce, without bending over to dig around in a low crisper! (we previously had a side-by-side) Also amazing light, beautiful, modern matte black finish without the in-door water or ice.. We eat a ton of produce as vegans, so we need lots more fridge than freezer, and our prep containers use the space so efficiently! Besides, we have a trunk freezer in the basement, so the smaller freezer is perfect for our needs. We also have a 1938 home with black appliances, so we only had three choices, and bought this sight unseen. It was just delivered yesterday so obvs no longterm feedback yet, but we are extremely happy to have chosen this fridge!
This is our first French door refrigerator and we love it! It fit the old space perfectly and looks so high end. It has space to spare for fresh food. We're planning to replace our cabinets with a similar soft white color. Installation was easy for someone handy. Waiting to hook up ice maker until we have a plumber check the line. Can be run without though with ice maker on “off” position.
Nice looking. But is loud. Scratchy noise while running. I am wondering if there is damage to the fans. It sounds like ice is making but ice maker isn't on and water isn't hooked up.
Very simple and pretty but not convenient. The water dispenser is uncomfortably placed in a tight spot inside the fridge with the button at the top of the dispenser so you're forced to use two hands- one to press the button and the other to hold the cup. Water comes out slowly, so you're there for a long period of time (I do change the filter regularly) letting out the cold air from the fridge and waisting energy.
Poor air circulation and cooling monitoring design freezes food on the top shelf. This refrigerator looks great, but the design is just terrible. Drinks on the top shelf have exploded, leaving a massive mess on the bottom despite the temperator being set well above freezing.
Brand new installed in a new built home. Since day one there has been condensation and water dripping from inside the refrigerator. I am now up to 3 service tech visits. Three items have been replaced inside the unit. I am so disappointed in the performance quality. I have been a GE customer for decades. My dad retired from GE after 27 years. I expected much better than what I have experienced. They need to replace this frig. I think it's a lemon
