We had our canopy flip up twice before getting this, these work great!
If you want to save your camper or RV awning from those sudden burst of wind these things are a must have. They screw down into the ground so they’re nice and tight and they just help anchor the awning to make sure that it doesn’t fly up and been backwards and end up costing over $1000 to replace. I definitely recommend them and they are worth the investment.
We were able to use this pretty successfully on our camper awning. It gives a little added stability to the canopy so that the wind doesn't move it as much. I still wouldn't use it in super windy weather but it did what it was supposed to do, so I recommend it.
My area gets windy all the time! I was happy to try out this awning stabilizer kit. I think it's a great value to help provide stability in windy conditions. The kit includes two stakes, two ropes, and two sets of hardware to help set it up. No tools are required and almost anyone could probably try using this kit. The heavy duty spiral anchors are pretty incredible. They could be used for wind control even outside the RV world. It might not solve all your problems but this kit is a great value, takes up very little space, and has a wide range of uses. Definitely for the RV, it's a handy tool to give you more control in windy conditions. It beats the hassle and expense of RV repairs.
We are full time RV'ers. We are always looking for ways to make our life easier and more enjoyable. This Awning Stabilizer Kit has been a great addition to our trailer. We love sitting out enjoying nature but we also enjoy the shade when it is warmer weather. The wind that comes up at the many places we travel work against our awning so we don't put it out, until now!! This kit is so easy to use and works so well to insure our awning stays out without too much tension. The S hooks easily go around the ends of each side of the awning and hold the rope. Then the stakes go easily on in the ground to hold the rope steady and tight but gives play when needed. It easily tightens and loosens through the tightening brackets that are included. It only takes minutes to put up and take down after the initial time putting it together. The unit itself and rope is of good quality and I can see it lasting for many trips ahead. We are so happy to be able to put our awning out and not worry about damage from wind gusts we can't predict!
I'm excited to review this Awning Stabilizer Kit because it is a high quality item. First of all it comes with all the parts you need to stabilize your awning. This helps a lot when it is windy out. It is very easy to use and it does not feel cheap or flimsy. The best thing about this kit it is multi use. You could use the screw in ground pieces for a dog tie out or to secure a tent or even tie back a tree. I love items that can be used in many ways and especially ones that feel like they are going to last a long time. I was able to put this on my awning in about five minutes flat without a help. After a camping trip we took the awning down and used it to tie up some bamboo in the back yard they was drooping. The white ties it comes with are very sturdy and I have alternatively used them as clothes line while camping. The tire are strong and water proof since they are nylon. This will make a great addition to your awning but really just a great addition to your life with so many uses.

Don't let your RV Awning get ruined by a gust of wind when you can easily stake it in the ground with this stabilizer kit from Camco. Wind can destroy any awning so why let it happen when this 2 pack can save you from unexpected accidents and expenses.
I have to admit I didn't get these because I have an RV. However, I do craft shows and need my show tent to be stable. This kit is amazing! The stakes are bigger and stronger than any I have used in the past. They're thick and the ends are sharp enough to pierce the ground nicely. There are a set of ropes that came with it which will come in very handy. The tensioners are a nice addition as we all know how you can get some slack when ropes are left out in the weather. I'm looking forward to using these at my next show. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who does shows or has an RV or needs anchors for outside use around their house.
The Awning Stabilizer Kit by Camco works rather well. This kit uses tension units to help keep the ropes taunt. Once you assemble the tension units, you simple drive the spiral anchor into the ground. I was getting a bit confused on the assembly, so my husband did that part. But overall it works pretty good.
