Works well, No added taste to the water. Kept the clean water in the tank fresh. Doesn't say how long it works before you should change it out but easily lasted the two weeks we were on vacation. (we only used the tank water when traveling between hookups)
Love Camco Puretaste drinking water freshener. I leave water in my motor coach year round and have never had a taste, algae problem.
Seems to work just fine. Water tastes good.
I put 1/4 tsp into a gallon milk jug of water, and use that to fill my countertop ice maker. It keeps the water, ice and inside of the ice maker clean and fresh between cleanings. I only have to deep clean the machine about every two weeks.

Perfect size to treat a 275 storage container, takes any musty taste out immediately.
We haven't used our fresh tank for a couple YEARS but wanted to try a remote electric only campground. I poured an entire 16 oz bottle into our tank to “shock” it. (We have separate potable water; the tank was for washing.) Surprisingly, odor-free and no bad taste either.
Makes a big difference on water quality in the RV water tank
