I was a bit concerned that other reviews indicated there were no instructions included. I looked in the packet that contains the patching kit and there were very detailed instructions on how to install the cover. Perhaps others didn't look that far. It's is easy to use and can be adjusted to fit quite well. When mine arrived it was missing a set of the adjusting bungee cords. I contacted Walmart and they offered me some options. 1. A small adjustment in my purchase price or 2. return it and exchange it for a new one. Since I had already recycled the original packaging I wasn't able to use option 2. (They weren't able to supply only the missing straps which was understandable.) I located the manufacturer, contacted them, and was immediately sent the missing straps. Their customer service department is tops. The quality of the cover is very good. I'm confident it will stand up quite well to our Michigan winter weather. It has already been through a couple of downpours and performs as expected.
We got this to cover our tent trailer. On a non-breezy to light breezy day, this could be handled by one person. Otherewise it takes two. It is light weight with a good fastening system We got ours big enougn to cover bumper to tongue. I can see where these are made to made to fit the camper part just right. We experience wind gusts of 20 to 40 mph this time of year (March through June) and this hasn't budged even though it is not an exact fit. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to protect their trailer or motor home.
My unit is 8 and 1/2 feet plus the spare tire. Thought that it would be just right to fit over rear mounted spare tire. They seem to design it with the tire area in mind. I may have been able to get by with the 6 to 8 foot instead. It is a little big. I bought it to handle the snows of the Wasatch Front of Utah. As an extra precaution I treated it with 303 Fabric Protection and the water beads up well. Should last for many years.
Purchased this camper cover because the local Camping World I purchased from back ordered mine for 8 weeks. Then gave up and returned my money when they couldn't promise it to me anymore. Since this was the same brand and cost less I decided to order from Walmart. Quick quick turn around. Had it when they told me. Quality of the top seems to be good. The instructions were included unlike what some other reviews had in them. The bending of the tie downs was simple and easy to figure out. I didn't not like how you had to tie the straps to the tie downs. Wish there was a buckle or something better than using your own knot. I did a good enough job to hold them. I checked on it a couple times since it's been outside. The water repels off it very good. Had some windy days and it looks to of held. It also has some vents on the side which look to help it breathe better. I did have a larger size camper and the 8'-10' was too small and this 10'-12' might be just a tad too big. But when you buy something universal they can't make everything fit 100%. I like the extra so that nothing is too snug and might tear. Overall glad with my purchase. Hope it holds up for years of service.
This camper cover is very easy to put on your camper. It works well, the day after I got the cover put on the camper it snowed about 8 inches. The cover never leaked. The only down side is it came with no instructions. So if your looking for the hooks to attach the cover. They are at the end of the elastic strap. The flat fuzzy piece at one end. You bend it to make the hook. Yes this cover will fit over a roof mounted A/C unit.
A bit thinner material than I hoped for. I've only had it on the camper for a week, so not sure how well it will hold up with the fall leaves and all. Easy to install, and enough room if your camper has an AC unit on the top. The fabric is a very light grey, much lighter in color than the picture. Straps were easy to use also. The item arrived on time and well boxed. Nice feature, the cover has a permanent marking on which is the front and rear of the cover. When measuring your camper, don't order a cover that is too large, I made that mistake and had to return for a smaller one. You don't want a lot of excess fabric flapping around in a breeze. I was thinking I needed to compensate for the AC, but found later I did not. check your camper for sharp edges before installing, mine ripped the first time putting it on. I have since repaired the small rip and corrected the sharp edge on the camper corner. Take your time putting it on. One corner at a time, then adjusting over and down for a snug fit.
This is a heavy duty, well made camper cover with one fatal flaw - the ends of the tie downs assume all campers have the same type of frame on which to hook them. Worked great with standard bungee cords instead of the ones that came with it. Fabric will tear if strapped down over sharp edges. Stores easily in the camper.
I used this cover in the past. It lasted around two years. I would always keep the trailer covered when not in use. I bought a replacement or this new cover and the straps to secure or hold the cover on are missing. For the price, this cover seems O.K.
I purchased a cover for a popup camper fourteen months ago. It is now in shreds. When I called to inquire about the warrenty camco would not help me. Company promises customer satisfaction and superior service what a joke.
The cover did not last. I installed it on my pop up in Nov 2014 and the material literally fell apart in Sept 2016. We live in East Tenn. Very disappointed.
