No substitution for steel period. Super high quality with cork gasket seal so absolutely no smell of gas escapes into the car from station to home. Operating hardware has a heavy duty feel and ease of operation. Welds are excellent as well as paint job. Would highly recommend and I personally purchased 6 to prep for hurricanes here in Florida as well as justrite fuel storage cabinet.
