Clever design! I ordered it because it was a simple desk organizer, but when I opened my package and used it, I was surprised at the cleverness of the design and how it is made. It may stain easily by pen, marker, or makeup stains but I would venture say that it'd be washing machine safe if you care that much.
The product I got was different from the picture. My 2 boxes didn't come with the 6 box-like divisions in it, each was just divided into 2 if that makes any sense. But, it still looks very good. I used it to put my nail polish, put my hair pins, etc.
This was a nice addition to my closet. I use it for jewelry and other small things that normally would find themselves lost or on the floor. Also looks great!
The back (bottom) is very difficult to assemble, and the product does not adhere to the bottom very well, but overall it serves its purpose for me. I use it to separate my necklaces which tend to slid under because the squares don't stick to the bottom at all.
