They are of great quality and look just like the picture. I would definitely recommend them to others!
These are great. They are long enough to cover about three inches past my wrists, and are thick so they block the heat well. The silicone lines are great -- no slipping, no dropping hot pans. The only bummer is that they must be line-dried, I guess so that the silicone does not separate from the fabric. That's ok. Also, my preschooler thinks these are for him, and he wears them to be a space ranger. Win-win!
I love this oven mitt set. They are very thick and buffer the heat nicely. The terry inside is a nice change from the insides of other mitts I have had in the past. The silicone grip strips on the outside are great as well, they actually grip as they are meant to, keeping the trays from sliding away and out of my grip. I am very happy with this purchase. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars in every category is that while I knew I was ordering a dark color, the color was not quite as shown in the picture. This does not take away from the rest of the features for this product and is not really a complaint, just an observation for others to keep in mind when chosing a color.
My mom purchased a set of these several years ago in the green color, so I have grown up using these in the kitchen. I knew that I absolutely had to have these in the kitchen of my first apartment. The silicone grips on these oven mitts allows you to easily grasp cookie sheets or casserole dishes and never worry about a dish slipping. These oven mitts are also very thick, so you never have to worry about feeling the heat as you grab something hot. My mom's oven mitts still have the same great color on them today as they did when she bought them a few years ago. I purchased the black set for $16 and consider them a steal! They are a great quality and will last for years!
Washed before use and shrunk just a little. Mitts fit perfect. Like long cuff for protection. The hot pads have a neat 'pocket' on the back to keep pads from slipping off hands. GOOD IDEA! NO MORE SLIPPAGE! silicone strips work GREAT
These are larger than I thought they would be but nice. Love the extra protection they offer. Haven't been washed yet since I don't cook too much but they look well made. Love that the gloves are longer than normal or I should say others that I have had in the past.
this product has been used quite a few times and is as described. We found it to be an excellent value.
Quality of pot holders and mitt feel cheap. Time will tell if it stands up to washing.
I was looking for oven mitts that were long and shaped right for your hands. These mitts fill the bill quite conveniently. They feel comfortable to use right away. I would recommend these as a real bargain for the price.
Mitt is stiff and ackward. Seam was split on one, naturally didn't realize until I was burned through the hole. Tag says not washable so quess they are disposible. Should have taken back.
