I purchased these towels for our guest bathroom. I've only washed them once but they are very soft and look great. I haven't had any trouble with the "fibers". I am planning on purchasing others for my bathroom and my children's bathroom.
Nice, soft towels and wash cloths. Washed them once, but fibers were still coming off when I dried with them. Washed them again and put through an extra cycle in the dryer and a lot less fibers are coming off. Probably need to be washed and run through the dryer another time or two before all loose fibers are completely gone, but overall, I would buy them again.
Color runs, fibers shed. One "pre-use treatment" is hardly enough. When you figure the time it takes to clean your washer and dryer after preparing this product for use, these towels can easily cost from $25 to $50. WalMart should ditch this product line.
These towels felt great at time of purchase and still feel great after 6 washes in hot water. However, brown fibers and fuzz continue to litter my bathroom floor and stick to my body. I bought these for guests in my rental condo and they complained so I bought towels at Target that do not shed upon purchase or after washing multiple times. I try to use these and they feel great until I see the brown fuzz everywhere.
i have purchased canopy towel...looks good..but i have washed that only once..and it was horrible......poor quality......
