Originally bought this as a blanket but we're now using it as our comforter. It is just thick enough to keep us warm but not too warm, as our older down comforter was. Very attractive, looks great on the bed.
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this, I bought it based on some good reviews in the first place! Great blanket for little cost! Even hubby who was skeptical of it at first, once it was out of the package and used, has decided he really likes it too!!
I decided to give this blanket a try when my old fleece throw left brown fuzz all over my brand new couch! I didn't want to have to use my lint roller every day, so I opted to buy a new blanket instead. I get cold very easily, and am unable to control the heat in my upstairs apartment. I needed something warm, but also attractive and inexpensive. Because my local Walmart did not have this exact blanket in stock, I had to drive about 15 miles out of my way, but boy, am I glad I did! This blanket matches my couch perfectly, and it keeps me warm and toasty, even on cold Michigan winter nights! I would highly recommend this blanket to any and everyone! :-)
We are pleased with this blanket. We purchased for visual appeal and to cover up when a heavy blanket is too much. We add a fleece blanket when its really cold. But, this one is great for medium warmth. And its an elegant compliment to our dark tapestry patterned comforter. We've had it for several months and it is holding up nicely to delicate, cold water washings. However, it did lose that "brand new" look after the second washing. Also, there are two loose threads and after a few washings tiny sprigs of the lining have started to sprout out. But, these are minor issues, for $29.95, we are very pleased.
I was really impressed with the quality of the product for the price. It feels like and appears to be made of silk. It is great looking. The satin border all the way around the product was a surprise and makes the blanket look very rich. It keeps me warm, but I do suggest a lightweight blanket under it to give even more warmth.
So far I love my new blanket.I've only had it for about two weeks. So I'm not sure how it washes .Its very soft & comfortable. Its light weight but very warm.
Being on a fixed income and feeling the economic pinch I needed a warmer blanket and a lower thermostat for the winter and "Oh' its so warm.
this is the worse blanket I have yet to buy. It looks beautiful but the stitching was poorly done and there was fiberfill from this blanket all over my bedding. I only kept it bcuz i can stitch it and make do with it....
First few days with the blanket, we were toasty warm and satisfied with it. But after a week or two, we kept noticing little white balls of the fiber filling. Every day the filling increased. This is a very poor quality product. Very disappointed for the price we paid. Will try to return for refund.
I was hoping for a good quality blanket. Instead I received a blanket that the stuffing continually comes out of and leaves little balls of lint all over everything. I would not recommend this blanket to anyone. Save your money and get something else.
