This oil is claimed to be the best in Italy and now I know why. The only olive oil I use.
I just love olive oil and this one is delicious great flavor and it comes in a dark bottle!
When working in Costco as a food demonstrated I had a food demo on olive oil. They trained us on high quality olive oil. It should be in dark glass container--many are green. First cold press. Extra Virgin. Come from country that has best olives for example Spain or Italy. The bottle of Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil has ALL these features. I highly recommend it. We use it all the time.
This is an excellent olive oil perfect for salads and cooking. Love the flavor.
I've been using this oil for many years. It's the secret ingredient to making the best salad dressing. I was extremely happy to find it on line, and hope it continues to be available.
The Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil that Walmart handles (but has stopped carrying in our local stores in Natchez, MS and Vidalia, LA) is the only olive oil I have found that is both tasty and affordable! I now order it by the case from Walmart's mail order division, which sends it ,without shipping charges, delivered to my gate. As many people now know, most olive oil is diluted with other oils - this one seems to be the real thing!
Use this for just about everything
If only the product is what is pictured! Buying it in the past I've always checked the bottle pictured as I want the one that says, 'for salads and flavoring.' The picture says that, but the product received was not it. I guess 'Firenze' means darker, different kind of Carapelli oil.
No way that it is olive oil! Not edible, taste like motor oil.
