This is a great product. I bought it for pregnancy/postpardum purposes and I use it all the time. The material is thicker than I expected, which I like. I thought it was going to be kind of flimsy like a blow up pool toy, but it is way stronger. I was disappointed it wasn't sold in stores and I couldn't even get it shipped site to store, so I had to pay just as much for shipping as for the product. But the product is great, I highly recommend it for pregnancy and post delivery.
Mine has held up sturdy so far, and is very comfy. You can adjust the size and amount of cushioning, and it has not lost air yet. Would also be a good comfort for traveling. ;)
Very reasonable inflating donut pillow. Helps me when I need to sit for long periods of time. I recommend Walmart's Site-to-Store.
This pillow was bought for a 5'10" 140 lb male. It inflated easily and stayed inflated, but he said the pillow felt too small for him. He found a wheelchair cusion provided more long term support, but the pillow we purchased did provide support and was worth the price paid. This pillow wasn't being used every day and so I can't say whether it will withstand daily use and stay inflated.
I sit on an inflatable custom whenever I'm on an office-type chair. I have tried many different brands. I have found that, no matter how much I pay for them, they all stop holding air after a certain period of time. So I just buy the cheapest ones that work. These Carex brand and the Equate brand are the cheapest I have found and both work just fine. I always buy several of them because they always stop holding air after a couple of months, but I never found an inflatable cushion that doesn't do that. I have found from long experience an inflatable custom is only thing that is guaranteed to prevent me from getting fibromyalgia pain from sitting on a hard chair for long periods of time. I assume it would also be good if you have hemorrhoids. If anyone finds an inflatable custom that keeps holding after a year or more of continuous use, please let everyone know. To inflate it, grab the inflation tube around its base between your index finger and thumb and pinch it gently to open the cutoff valve and allow air flow into the cushion. Make sure you cap it tightly once the cushion is full.
I purchased 6 CAREX CUSHIONS. 2 HAVE UNACCEPTABLE LEAKS AND ARE USELESS.
the photo makes it look bigger.
Guess I didn't realize the circle was gonna be so small. But you get what you pay for....
On my second day of use, when I sat on it, the inside seam did not hold and busted open. I had to throw it away. It needs to be made stronger.
Did what it was supposed to do at first but almost immediately leaked out the air. It has to remain inflated to be any good.
