This Grip shower handle helps me feel more secure when taking a shower. I recently had surgery that makes my balance very unstable but with this handle I now have something in my shower to hold onto to be more secure. I've never had any problem with it breaking loose from my shower, so be sure to install it correcrly.
The 16" inch grab bar is the perfect size for the shower. It also has good suction power to remain fixed when placed on the wall. I would recommend it for anyone.
So far so good. Has good suction as yet. If you have small tiles (4 x 4), be sure to measure what length you need. My first was 12 inches, but the cup overlapped the grout. Must have flat surface. The 16 inch fit directly within the tile.
Returned this item because it would not perform for what I needed it for. I needed a grip bar that would enable me to pull myself up out of the bathtub.
item is supposed to lock un place. i have a smooth even surface but still the locks disengage randomly and the handle falls to the floor. Not recommended because locks come undone when should be locked and secured. I feel it's not safe for my mom to use and asked to start a return for refund.
Unless you have a perfectly glass smooth surface, these will not work. My bathroom tile had a very miniscule texture and the suction cups would not hold on it

It will not stay stuck to my shower wall. I find it on the bottom of the tub each morning. Don't buy!
Tried several times and different places and couldn't get it to stick to the wall! Decided it was a safety hazard and threw it in the trash! Waste of money!!
