I absolutely adore this yarn! It is so soft and squishy when worked up. My Michaels store had a pattern called "let it snow cowel" displayed with the yarn so I grabbed that and one cake of Kiss Kiss and I couldn't be happier. That particular pattern called for 6.5 & 9 mm hooks so seeing my stitches was no problem at all. It also frogged no problem. I need to find a cardigan pattern to make with this because I just want to live in this yarn !
I came across this yarn just before Christmas and decided to buy 2 cakes, to work up on my 7 ft triangle loom. The shawl was beautiful and draped wonderfully. Gave it as a gift and recipient is absolutely thrilled, loves loves loves the gentle warm hug she feels when using her shawl. I am thrilled and want to make more, and I Can't Find Them???? Seasonal you say? May not make them again you say? Please, NO!!! I bought 2 cakes. One was enough for one shawl, with no fringe. Must find more.... lol
This is si incredibly soft, but also so easy to work with. The colors are a little limited but they are gorgeous
Im so glad you brought back the Latte Cakes. They are my favorite yarn hands down. Soft. Easy to work with. Easy to take out if made a mistake or easy to coverup boo boos. But beautiful yarn. I just finished my cardigan sweater. Im going to make one for my daughter too. Great yarn. In Elderberry color.
Love this yarn. It works up smoothly, it's soft, and the stitches are easy to see if you're crocheting (unlike with many other "fuzzy" yarns). Someone else mentioned that the yarn was misrepresented as a "bulky" weight yarn. I'd agree based solely on the strand thickness... it's more like a worsted weight. HOWEVER, the fuzz and fluff gives it enormous versatility... you can comfortably crochet it with a 4mm hook for a super dense fabric, or a much larger hook, and although the weave is must looser, the fabric is still soft, fluffy, and very warm. One touch and you'll know this is a yarn designed for touchability and drape. Trying to use this for basket projects or amigurami probably isn't a great idea.
Yarn is so soft and texture is perfect for animals. Need solid brown so I can make larger items!
This yarn is so soft, I am using it to make a baby blanket. Unlike most other fluffy yarn, Latte Cakes can be easily undone with no tangling at all. Also, the colour change is very gradual which makes for a more pleasing result in my opinion. I do not like the abrupt change other cakes have. I will be buying more of this for other projects.
great quality as always caron

This is my project after following the wash and dry instructions, half is fabulous and soft and fibers are free and then the other half looks like it felted, what went wrong?
