I bought this for my 6 kids (7 - 14) to put all their DVD/Blu ray movies in. I was SO sick of seeing disks on the floor, on the dresser, on the table, etc. They would always get scratched because children seem to be missing the "put it back in the case" function in their brains. Anyway, they love this and (so far) have been really good at putting their movies in the book when they're done. I would recommend this to anyone with millions of DVDs and children.
Great product! Great delivery service!
I was able to clear off many shelve in my bookcases! Just two of these Case Logic albums held 448 dvds! Now, I have many shelves to display antique vases and other types of what-nots, instead! Great!
2 boxes of CDs down to 4 binders. Less space. I love it.
I'm so glad I bought this. I have pets, and live on a horse farm, so I am constantly battling dust and hair on surfaces. For years, I have previously stored my CD collection, in their jewel cases, on CD towers. But I was sick of constantly having to dust all those jewel cases and CD holders. I was looking for a solution that allowed my CD's to remain accessible and yet dust-free. I was previously looking at (and had actually added to my shopping cart) the nylon version of this case. I was a click away from purchasing when I saw the suggested item thumbnail for the Koskin version, and boy am I glad it caught my eye! The smooth faux-leather surface wipes clean and is easy to keep dust free. I had looked at comparable-material products at other retailers but shied away because they were usually around 2.5 - 3x's the price. I will comment on the use/functionality of this product as it relates to durability. Other reviewers on this site, as well as other retailer's sites, have complained that they think the CD pages are flimsy and would tear if stored upright. Also comments have been made that the wallet is awkward, lopsided or top heavy if stored upright (stored like a book on a book case as it is pictured in the product photo). And frankly, I have to agree. I can't comment on the pages tearing as they seem plenty durable to me (I have the wallet only about 1/2 full). But as far as storing it upright on a shelf, I do think it would fall over. The difference between me and other reviewers (and the reason why I still gave this product 5 stars despite this "shortcoming") is that I never considered using it that way. And I don't really think it's intended to be used that way. Maybe the product photo is misleading people into thinking that. I bought it to be stored flat on the table my stereo sits on. I open it and flip through it just like you would an album on a coffee table. Since it lives that way at my house, I don't consider the difficulty storing it upright to be a negative. However, if your space is really limited and you were looking to store this upright (with no bookends to hold it in place) then it may not work for you. So, my previously sloppy, dusty jewel cases now live out-of-sight in a drawer and the CD's themselves are immediately available and super-easy accessible with a flip of a page. They live a completely protected dust-free life and the footprint of the album is far less than the towers I used to use! And the best part - I'll never waste an hour of my life dusting CD/DVD cases ever again!! Ah... A Happy Ending for only $25 bucks!
just what I was looking for. seems well made & I am happy with the purchase.
The construction of the CD/DVD holders seems rather sturdy, so there seems little chance of their tearing from use. The product is advertised as having a capacity of 208, but actually with the 16 extra CD/DVD pockets in the front, the total capacity is 224, an unexpected plus. And if a 224 capacity is not enough, there appears to be plenty of room to add more pages, supposing they are available for purchase somewhere.
This is the perfect size. Holds lots of CDs but not too many that it is heavy. Well constructed and durable. CDs stay protected in the slots.
I liked in the description that I could move pages around but when I actually had to move some pages around, it was very time consuming, and re installing the page lock hook was not that easy . It's still better , for the price , than most of the other products out there. ... I also wished that it had top flaps to keep the DVDs in their individual slots
The kidskin was nice for easy clean up if something was wasted on it. But the plastic brackets seemed like it wouldnt hold up with 208 cd's. Once it was on its side theall the weight of the cd's pulled to bottom and would cause the cd pages to tear.
