As a first time user of any keyboard I have to say I am no expert but I am impressed .This Casiotone keyboard has alot of the functions that I was looking for. It can be plugged up or can be used with six AA batteries. You can plug in headphones ,a computer or smartphone . It has a music stand and has 400 tones and 77 rhythems. The keyboard has 61 keys ,this is alot of fun. Like I said before I have no experience at keyboarding at all but I had a blast. I might even try learning how to play more since it was so fun.
This Casio Casiotone, 61-Key Portable Keyboard (CT-S200BK) is just awesome. It has so many different tones and music that I am just amazed. I got this for my preteen daughter and toddler son as just a toy to help teach n strengthen them in music as fun. But it turned out to just be more. The love noise but they boy love to use it so much that they are learning so many of the feature on this piano, it is just fantastic. It's is cheap enough to be just a toy but you can get the real learning experience and interest in this as well. I just love it for them.
This is a very high quality piano. I always loved Casio products, and this one is the proof. Piano has 400 hundred tones and 77 rhythms.It has a 61 full size keys, and easy to read LCD display. Speakers are built in, or I can plug in my headphones, when I want to play music for myself only. Also, I can choose to play my music, or one of 60 songs that are inside. It has a USB port, so I can connect my phone or any other device. Overall, great piano for the price point. I recommend it.
Yes, it is a full-size, portable keyboard. Download the Chordana Play app to your phone, which provides training lessons and midi files, that you can use. The keyboard also comes with a headphone jack, however it is not too loud, but sound carries. Also, the volume can be adjusted on the keyboard. The headphone jack can also double as a speaker jack. It comes with a power supply or you have the option of using 6AAA batteries. It also comes with a Music Sheet stand. Now I just need to purchase a piano stand and a stool.
This Casio 61 key keyboard is a great keyboard to start to learn how to play the keyboard. Once you master learning the keyboard this has a lot of extra bells and whistles I love turning the knob to #5 and using the sound of the dance piano with a 4 beat bar in the background. It's a great keyboard for even creating your own sound or for practicing with a band. I like that it has an easy-to-read LCD display and intuitive controls like the My Setup button, which lets me bring my favorite sounds and settings. My other favorite setting is the Dance Music Mode which lets me create and remix various tracks. This keyboard also has a music stand for placing sheet music and when you remove the stand from the base it has a built in carrying handle. All around this is a great keyboard for beginners and beyond.
The quality of the keys is good. Stroke travel is satisfying. It's like having a good suspension on a vehicle. The piano comes with 400 modes and it's an absolute fun to try out all the 400 different types of instruments. I like how it looks and how you can hold it in the center and carry it. Menu keys are minimal ,just enough to navigate. Love the rotary knob You can also connect it to your phone and computer. Some models can use Bluetooth,but this model is connected through USB cable. I have yet to connect it to PC. As of now, I'm having a blast living my childhood dream of making music on piano.
This review is for the Casio Casiotone, 61-Key Portable Keyboard We own two other very nice keyboards besides this one, and I find that this one is the new family favorite. Reason being: portability! You can literally carry it around because it is not gaudy and heavy. You can even play it in your lap! I included a photo below of it sitting on my twin sized bed to give u an idea of its size. Yes it is big, but totally portable and we love this. Because sometimes you just wanna get comfy on your bed or couch and play. With our other keyboards, we have to sit in a chair and play them on their stands. So who would have known that portability is the new must have in a keyboard! It has two power sources; batteries or the option to use the adapter that is included. I think having a battery slot is important because you can now play in the backseat of the car using your personal earbuds with the earbud slot (because remember it's lightweight)I can't emphasize this enough…portability! My husband is the big keyboard player in the house and he is loving this brand. The speakers are great, lots of tones with 61 keys and 60 songs. It also has a slot for a micro B USB to connect to other devices and use MIDI. All in all, if I had 50 keyboards in front of me…this one would be my go to. I highly recommend it and at this reduced price, why not give it a try?!
Well, to start off; it came quickly and without damage. That is a Good start:-) It is a Very Nice looking piece of equipment. The heft of it is good and it feels sturdy. One can use Double AA batteries or an AC adapter, so that makes it more convenient to operate depending on one's needs at the time. One can also use this keyboard with another device through a USB cable. However, one is Not provided so it will be up to each to buy one or perhaps might have one already that will work. This was probably my only negative thought on this instrument because Casio is known for Quality products and one might assume for the nominal cost it would have added they could have included it. I as most everyone else enjoys some genre of music. That said, I am more than a little instrumentally challenged so this is going to be a Nice learning experience for myself and my grandson. Going to have to pick up some music books to learn from and we'll probably bang around on this several times a month. It is also not very expensive so gifting this to someone you know is talented or wants to learn would not be a problem. Enjoy!-)
This keyboard does what it's supposed to. I already have a keyboard same brand but this one is a little cheaper. The keys are a little stiff and hands don't glide as smoothly. I do like the setting with different sounds . It also has a option of using batteries to take it on the go.If you want something that's for beginners this would be a nice fit. Might want to spend more if your looking for a professional keyboard. I would definitely buy this for a kid that just wants to play and learn. It also comes with a music sheet stand. That's definitely a plus.
This Keyboard is full size and has the sound and quality you would expect from Casio. I like the music book holder and the fact that you can plug it in instead of relying on batteries and it has a spot for headphones. The reason I gave it a four was because I feel like this is a beginner keyboard but it didn't come with anything to help a newer person get started and it is overall a basic keyboard without any bells and whistles. Overall it is a nice instrument that anyone basic keyboard player would enjoy having.
