My son loves this keyboard. He is actually using YouTube to learn how to play and has come a long way in only 3 and a half weeks! I would recommend this keyboard to anyone!
Wonderful instrument for my use in learning piano. I use it every day. It's money well spent even though I don't expect to take advantage of all the extra features.
The keys are heavier than a normal keyboard but not quit as heavy as a real piano. Obviously if you want something with keys more comparable to a piano then you will need to pay a higher price. A LOT HIGHER. This keyboard, in my opinion is perfectly priced and gives a decently weighted key along with other fantastic features!! Which we still need to read and learn about!! I'm very satisfied!!
Item was a Christmas gift for our teen daughter. She loves it! Has tons of features and sounds good.
VERY FUN TO USE WITH MY 10 year old daughter only problem,it did not come with the receipt and was informed in the chat, and did not receive any response.
The keyboard was priced right and serves my purposes well. I especially appreciate that it has an automatic shut off.. I remember to turn it off most of the time after using it. But if I forget, it will shut itself down and protect itself from burning out.
I bought this keyboard for my 10 year old. It's the same her music teacher has for his students. She loves it. It can be loud so buy the headphones too. Excellent keyboard.
Very pleased with the quality of this keyboard, at such a low price. Sounds great and tons of different sounds and settings.
I sent the 2400 back because it didn't have the Casio Chord option I was looking for. I was looking for a Casio Keyboard that was like my CTK 601 and CTK 611 that had the original Casio Chord option. I finally found it in the Casio CTK 4400 and I love it! This thing makes me sound like a professional even though I am semi professional! The sound is such high quality, the rhythms are fantastic, and I can add 2 tones together like I also had with the 601 & 611 example: I can add string piano with guitar, Sax with oboe, etc. The 2400 doesn't have that option. I also can not read music; I play by ear. But I know guitar chords so with Casio Chord, it is much easier to play the chords. The Casio 4400 was only $35.00 more and well worth it. I will probably get another one so I can keep one at home to practice on and use the other one to play at Church and entertain elsewhere. If you are serious about wanting to play and sound great, spend the extra $$ and get the 4400. If you are buying one for kids to beat up on or who aren't serious about playing the keyboard, then get the 2400. I would also like to add that the Casio sounds just as good as the Yamaha and has more options. And when you hook it up to an amplifier ... look out!
It is good what it costs I suppose but the volume control is like all or nothing. The reverb option is also all or nothing. The low keys are staticky when volume is up high. Only about half of the tones are worthy of playing. The song lessons are a little difficult to follow. I am not super impressed but at least I didn't spend a fortune and it is a bit better than a toddler toy piano. Thank you
