I got this for my great nephew, he loves music and is about the age to take his first lessons. The keyboard is perfect for the space it takes up and the voice of the instrument. It is not a toy but an opportunity to learn and to create in the future. He's almost five years old about the same age as I was when I first started to sit down with my Mom and learn about the piano.
It came with everything a beginner needs, as far as I can tell as a beginner myself. I'm using all the pieces that came with the shipment, including the headphones so I don't bother others in the house while I'm learning. For the cost of a couple of months of lessons, I have everything I need to stay busy learning the keyboard for a long time. Amazon had a nice keyboard that came with the eMedia software, and this WalMart.com deal cost a little more, but came with a larger range keyboard. Since the deals between Amazon and Walmart.com were so similar, I went with Walmart.com in case anything had to be returned. (The package is sold by Walmart, not a third party seller.)
