This product falls under the "Starter Furniture for Kittens ONLY" category. It is small, flimsy, and not at all durable or solid. It is made from cardboard, flimsy cardboard. It folds out and stands up, but with enough force, would collapse. An adult cat could fit into the opening but it would be a tight fit. Only one of my cats attempted to go inside. He loves to burrow and hide but even he refused to try and maneuver himself inside of it. One of my other cats attempted to use the scratch material on either side of the triangle frame and it immediately moved and turned him off to using it. It was a complete waste of money. My only regret is not saving it for the kitten I adopted several months after purchasing this item. This item is good for kittens only, and even then, it is not worth the $25. I would not pay more than $5 for this.
