Functional cat door. Good template for cutting. Simple directions for installation. My fat cat figured it out easily.
My Husband installed cat mate large flap door -pretty easy- -so far the cats are getting use to using it -cat's from 10 to 14 pounds go through it easy with room to spare .. but I would have to say that they would rather you open the door for them because they don't like going threw the flap--But they are so spoiled and the saying dogs have masters and cats have servants are so true!!! lol But Punkin (older) learned it pretty fast, but buckwheat still learning (year old) ..
Perfect for what we needed. Put it on our basement door and we are pleased.
Installation was not that difficult and we truly enjoy having a door for our indoor only cats to access the laundry room where the litter boxes are.

Very well thought out product. Cut excess material as directed for a perfect fit through my combination storm/screen door. Now I no longer need to leave it open for my Yorkie to come and go as he pleases. He likes the clear window. He keeps a vigilant eye on the yard and darts out when he sees something he doesn't like out there (even the wind and shadows LOL_.
This door was very simple to install as well as the perfect way to let my cats come and go as they please. It also keeps out the wind and rain. I just hope when winter arrives that it will keep out the cold. So far as I can tell there is no reason why it shouldn't.
The product itself is great. I am very pleased with the four-way locks on the door, and it seems really sturdy and more secure than I thought it would be. I was afraid my intuitive cats would figure out how to get it open from the inside when I have the in only lock set, but so far it has stayed secure and has worked well. The one issue that I found with the product is the screws that are provided are all too thick in diameter to be used on the front flap section of the door. Fortunately, this was a replacement door for an old one, so I was able to use the screws that were in the previous door, but this could be an issue for somebody that doesn't have the right size screws on hand. I would suggest the manufacturer update the hardware that's included in the kit to thinner screws that will fit the product.
