This is a great rug!! It is more than what I expected. The only down fall is that it sheds a bit for the first few weeks. Great deal!!
The color is a mushroom beige, and the pile has a definite ribbed pattern which creates a type of self stripe, great for texture and pattern without colored patterns. The rug sheds quite a lot for the first few months which is normal with thick piled wool rugs but means you have to vacuum more often! I have had lots of compliments from visitors. It is very good value for money - looks much more expensive.
my only complaint is that the color really isn't beige-it is much more yellow or gold than shown in pix and "beige" does not describe the color at all. Other than that it is a great price for a wool rug of this size. I am hoping it will fade a bit.
When I received the rug in the store, it was completely covered with plastic. I didn't open it until I got home and discovered a big hole in the rug. You could not tell it had this hole until you uncovered the plastic wrap. I had to return the rug to the store and get a refund.
