The product may be directed towards women, but I think anyone would love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I read the reviews for these earbuds after purchasing and was quite disappointed. I got these for a pretty good price and the JBL logo sold me since they're typically known for making products that produce good sound. Despite the reviews, I had to find out just how terrible they were for myself, so I opened up the box and tried them out. Ok, the ear hooks are awkward, and they do pop off as you remove the buds from the box, but I pushed them down onto the plastic attachment piece and they seemed secure. More with the awkwardness, they fit weird and were hard to fanagle onto/into my ear and just weren't comfortable. Then I heard the sound quality (or lack there of) and was near set on returning them. Just to give it a try, I removed the hooks and was able to twist the buds down into my ear more. WOW! the difference; there's bass! If you have this product and are experiencing the same issues, I highly recommend you remove the hooks and get some better positioning in your ear (just keep twisting them around until you can hear all sounds). Also, I shook my head around, simulating an 80's rock band member, to see if the buds would fall out without the hooks attached (yes, I was alone while doing this). They did not fall out, SUCCESS! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Only earphones that stay in

I don't have the wireless version yet but I just ordered them. I have the wired set and these are hands down the ONLY pair of earphones that stay in my ears. I've blown money on so many different pairs. While it may not be a fit for everyone, if you've struggled to find a pair to fit, give these a shot. (My ears are smaller) In regards to the other reviews, yes, the ear hooks come off easily but I don't find them do while they are on your ear, just when you are taking them off or storing them. I have lost one once and JBL replaced it for free. The fact that they are moveable keeps them comfortable and secure in my ears. The sound is only reason they lost one star. It's not bad sound but definitely not on par with high ends stuff, but you aren't paying that price anyway. It's plenty good enough for a work out.

Bought these a few weeks ago. Sound is good. They work great at the gym. They are relatively comfortable for a while. BUT. The part that goes over your ear falls off at the slightest touch. Of course I lost it and I can find anywhere to purchase a replacement part.

I got these headphones as a present and sadly im alittle disappointed as i cant seem to get them to fit my ear properly but after about ten mintues i can get them in and the sound quality isnt all that great plus the ear hooks keep coming off and ive already lost one of them and only used 3 times!! Not particularly happy and cant wear them properly doesnt paint a good picture for this product.

High hopes turned disappointment

Why must it be so hard to find a pair of good quality earbuds that sit comfortably, fit securely in my ears without constantly falling out, and god forbid they last any longer than a couple months! So when I saw these JBL earbuds were specifically designed for women with smaller ears, I thought, yes finally found exactly what I need. Initially hopeful, ultimately disappointed. I'm your daily average jogger, nothing crazy. My ears that sit pretty flat against my head which can sometimes be an issue with glasses or anything that wraps behind the ear. On the Yurbuds, the part that wraps around the ear to secure the earbuds from falling out is a very hard plastic which is not very comfortable. It can start to hurt a little after a while. They are detachable but without them the earbuds won't stay in if I'm running. And like other reviews have also stated, you have to really press the pieces onto the little post or they slip apart. Also unless my ear openings are abnormally, which I have a hard time believe, the silicone part that fits inside your ears are hardly small at all. In my opinion they are actually kind of large in general compared to many other earbuds I've tried. Another issue I have is the component which I assume houses the battery and led indicator hangs right on your collarbone bouncing off it a little when running. Not the most comfortable feeling but I stuff it under my shirt which helps. While the sound quality is decent enough, the microphone not much since no one seems to be able to hear me very well/clearly during phone calls. I do like that you can control tracks forward and back and volume up and down. Would be better if you didn't have to hold the button down so long when trying to run since it can mess with your flow of movement a little. The battery life was the probably the best thing it had going for it lasting at least a good 8 hours which is awesome! However, 2 1/2 months from the day I purchased they suddenly stopped charging using the cord it came with or any others I tried. So no, it seems paying a little more did not ultimately provide much value when they malfunction at the same rate as cheap ones. I've submitted a support request for repair under the one year warranty. Still annoyed and frustrated to say the least.

I bought these yesterday and ended up having to take them back today because they were just soooo bad. I was so excited to use these at the gym because they were wireless but ohhh noooo I had to mess with them the whole time I was using them. They didn't stay in my ears or kept falling off!! It even said on the package "guaranteed to not fall out" YEA RIGHT!!!! I'm very disappointed :(

I bought them last week and did everything to make sure that I was putting them in correctly. They were painful and injured my right ear, leaving a small sore. Also the over ear portion kept falling off every time I took them out.

Poor design and uncomfortable

I got these as a gift. The part that wraps around the ear falls off constantly since nothing is holding it together except for friction. I'm not sure why they chose to have this part be removable. The piece that goes into the ear does not accommodate my ears and leaves a red mark if I wear them too long. The bluetooth range I get with these is about 10 M, which isn't terrible. I've had sporadic success with using them on the phone. The white colour is kind of an ugly light grey. Finally, I'm not sure what is "womanly" about these.
