I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this I wanted it for my backyard party.i put it inside my firepit and everyone thought it was real from a distance. here is a youtube video of it working.
This product was good for the event we had and does look like a fire, especially in lower light. The silk "flame" piece was shorter than I would have liked, so it seemed a little weak. It could have been taller for better effect or two silk pieces would have been good as well.
