Serves its purpose, material is an amazing good quality.
I bought this for my very active toddler grand-daughter. She thinks that it is a toy. It's just the right size for a toddler. It has a small pouch that looks like it might hold a water bottle but haven't tried that yet. Thought it was a prefect animal choice since we call our grand-daughter a little monkey.
Never thought I'd have to leash a child but a warning from my daughter worried me about taking my granddaughter to the store. So rather than chasing down a 2 year old (who can out run me) and making a fool of myself, I opted for the easy solution. There were several cute, little animals to choose from. We went with the monkey because it's her favorite character, "Mango" on her favorite video, Wheels on the Bus. She wanted to wear it as soon as she seen it; squealing, "Put Mango on!" *Giggle* She wears it around the house and shows it to everyone. She loves it! The leash clips on and off so it can just be a backpack, which it nice. I'm so glad we got this for her even if we never have need of it for it's intended purpose. You can't beat the price, (we got it for $8!) and because I ordered it online, Pop pop didn't have to hunt it down...they sent us a text and he went right over and picked it up!
My son loves the harness he will wear it all the time. When he goes for a walk he will bring me the leash part to put it on. He can walk and he loves it. I have compliments about how cute it is. I even bought a cute pink elephant one for my daughter.
My grand daughter loved this as she can now walk on her own and not have to hold hands with her Daddy .. She feels like a big girl now . No worrys about her getting lost or running away . Makes life so much easier..
This product is a life saver for sure. I am a single mother of a 2 year old and a week old. When we are out i use this. One day I was putting baby in car and 2 year old went to run acrossed a busy street. If I wouldn't have had this harness I don't know if he would be here. My 2 year old will not hold hands so this is what works, he loves that it is a monkey:) If I try to make him hold hands it is a fit throwing time and he will lay on the ground screaming so if we didn't have this we would not be going anywhere.
I bought this item for my 5 year old special needs little girl. She walks but needs guidnace and she loves to run from me. Recently I was accompaning her on a field trip to the Living Desert so I thought this product would make her feel like she had some freedom but she wouldnt get away from me. It worked perfectly. She loved wearing it (monkeys are her favorite) and I felt confident knowing she couldnt get away from me while on the field trip.
It is so convenient taking my 2 year old out in public now! I do not have to chase him down, I can walk peacefully with him next to me without worrying. He is at a distance that is not too short, but actually would be the distance I preferred him to be. I was REALLY embarrassed to have this on my son @ 1st + my husband was completely against it!...but, its so handy and so much cuter becuz it has a darling lil monkey and is not just a harness-which is y my baby probably lets me put it on him.
I bought this for my 20 month old son to use on our vacation and it is perfect. I was a bit concerned that it would be too restrictive for him but it was a perfect fit. He thinks it is a cool toy and it sparks his sense of adventure. In fact, he doesn't ever want to take it off.
This harness is great for anyone who has a little runaway. My son loves the monkey and enjoys carrying it on his back. He's still getting use to the fact that when he sees something he like while we are in the store that he can only get so far before the lease stops him :) This is a great way to keep your little adventurer safely with you.
