Awesome shoe for long runs and recovery runs. Currently training for Half Marathon and the Hurricane is really doing a lot to help me increase the mileage on my long runs without leaving me feeling at all beat up. I even take it on some light trails at times and it's been great. The medial posting is very mild. I find this shoe way less supportive in terms of pronation prevention then is advertised, but I find this to be a plus, not a negative. Very flexible. Comforts your foot and lets it do what's natural. The only downside is it's on the heavier end of trainers, so don't expect to break any speed records in the Hurricane. This shoe is for comfort, long miles, and just straight up feeling great while running.
I bought these about a month ago and wanted to wait and see before giving a review. I DO NOT run!! I simply buy high quality ,CUSHIONED running shoes for comfort alone( i am a cancer patient, and the drugs i have to take make your feet and hands extremely sensitive) cushion is very good in this shoe ,but not overly cushioned i.e. Mushy you know. I have been a saucony fan for years, especially hurricanes.( i own isofit zealots, triumphs also) the hurricanes are simply a little better(and pricetag reflects it too) full length everun insoles are a plus. They run true to size (the last pair of triumph isofits were very small, but this is the only pair of sauconys i have bought that didn,t fit true to size and the reason i did,t contact them about the fit)and i love the light blue, steel blue color(don,t know what they actually call it) i really wish saucony would improve sole durability as the lasy several pairs of hurricanes, triumphs, and zealots all three wore out in the forefoot in only a few months. This has to be especially so with serious runners,if i am having issues just wearing them as everyday walking, working shoes.(i am a truckdriver,so i am doing nothing really to cause the shoes soles to be wearing out so soon) seems like all three models use the same material. These hurricanes have reconfigured their sole design, but i can,t tell about the material. I have had them a month and they certainly SEEM to be lasting much better to this point. I hope i don,t seem to be overly critical, but sole wear is simply the only flaw i can find in saucony hurricanes. I also have asics gel kayanos, nike air zoom vomeros. I like the hurricanes better than either of those.oh the isofit design really hugs your foot and gives you a custom fit ,feel when wearing sauconys. Lots of really good running shoes available, i simply prefer the hurricanes to anything i have tried!
