I'm not sure if this review is just for Kasey and her son, or if it's for the service provided by Walmart. But in this case, it surpassed expectations by far.
Outstanding Christmas light installation service! The pros that installed my Christmas light truly exceeded my expectations. Their meticulous attention to detail, coupled with their prompt and professional approach, made the entire experience seamless. If you're looking for a hassle-free, top quality light installation that will make your house standout this holiday season, look no further! My neighbor was so impressed she too decided to order the service. The Angi pros and Walmart have earned my highest recommendation.
I am very pleased with the Christmas Lighting Install and Removal Service that I purchased this year. My Installation technicians arrived on time, and even a few minutes early! Both gentlemen were very friendly and addressed my requests. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best with rain and cold, but they continued to work and completed my lighting as quickly as possible. We are very happy with the service and will be purchasing it again next year.
What a terrible job they did. Guy came up. wrapped the lights around column instead of following the roof line. everything was crooked. my husband came out to tell him he has to straighten everything out and fix and 5 minutes later when he came back out to check, the guy was left. I am disputing with my credit card company because we had to take down everything and do ourselves. I hated to even leave one star as the service should have gotten NO stars!
I ordered lights and didn't realize they were attached to an installation fee. $149! Have tried unsuccessfully to cancel this! I returned the lights but was still charged $149 for installation! Can't find anyone to remove this charge! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Angi's workers canceled on us 3 times since we purchased this service. 1 of those times they never called and never showed up. We want our money back IMMEDIATELY!! And you may want to reconsider using their services for anything else. We have had our lights sitting out in the rain since 12/2. You and they have wasted our time.
I paid $199 for 300 sq ft of lights. The guy showed up and put up 100 sq ft. He said he gets paid by the hr not the square foot. He said getting his ladder out takes time. He didnt finish he simply packed up and left.
If I could give this review a zero, I would. We purchased the 300 ft. installation on 11/11/23 and were scheduled for 11/16. The pro for that installation cancelled 30 minutes before the scheduled time. We were rescheduled for 11/18. That pro cancelled an hour after the start time of our installation. We were again rescheduled for 11/20 at 4 pm. The pro once again cancelled right before the installation. We were rescheduled AGAIN for 11/22 at 10 am. The pro never arrived. The number that Angi provided for contacting the pro is not a valid number. Even customer service couldn't get ahold of the pro through the number. All of the pros were different, so this is not an issue with one pro. This is now four times that we have had to negotiate our schedule to make ourselves available. Beyond not getting the job done, it is now wasted time and responsibilities on our end. On top of all of this, the app never linked with our booking, so we were never able to view the details of the booking. We had to contact customer service every time. Each time they went through the same speech of having us delete the app, reinstall it, try the website, try a different device, etc. Then at the end say that this is a 'known issue' and they will 'contact their IT.' Which is just what you say when you have no idea what is going on or how to help. Needless to say, we will not be using Angi again in the future.
They texted me day of install and asked to move to next day due to rain (rain had already stopped) and the next day showed up 90 minutes late. We talked a few minutes and then they said they had to go to Home Depot to get some clips (I already had two kinds). Came back over an hour later with nothing . Had to put up lights in dark by this point and they didn't put them where we discussed and didn't check in with me. Then they just left without knocking on door. Texted me after they were gone to tell me they left . They didn't finish what we discussed and did something else instead . Not what I wanted and now I need to find someone to fix them. What a mess.
I Do Not recommend this service if you want your lights installed. I have had 5 appointments cancelled and still have no lights up! I think it's a scam to ripe you off!!
