Love this product.....it's so much fun and so easy to use....I play with the purple and pink colours...changes my whole look....Love it!
I have my own way of using this product. I use a mascara wand to apply it to strands of my hair to give it highlights, as if it's hair mascara. First, I use the foam applicator on the top to dab it onto my (clean) bathroom sink. Then I swipe my mascara wand through it and brush it into my hair. I continue to fill the wand, brushing the product through my hair until I have finished putting the highlights all over my hair. Then I use a natural bristle brush to diffuse the color. I love the way it looks. I color my hair (a dark shade of brown) and this product makes my hair color appear natural. I have tried 3 different shades, And Shimmering Copper is my favorite. The sink is easy to clean. Plus, if I apply too much product to any part of my hair, a damp cotton ball or a makeup remover sheet is all it takes to set things right. I will be ordering more of this.
I bought the Shimmering Copper to color my hair for Halloween. Not only did it show up well on my medium brown hair, but it stayed for hours and didn't smudge onto any surfaces or clothing (you have to following the blow-drying step for this to happen). Everyone who I encountered asked if I had dyed my hair red, because it looked very natural and realistic. The best part was that it washed out very easily, and was completely gone after one shampoo. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love to dye their hair. I don't want a permanent dye on my 7 year old's hair. This was a perfect compromise. He got the color he wanted and I know it will wash out.
I bought this product last month and i'm obsessed! I naturally have dark blonde hair and the apricot has given me a dreamy red hue. it was really easy to apply and made my hair really shiny! will definitely use again.
I loved this dye. It was my first attempt at home colouring and not only did it work out great, but the colour was amazing and lasted longer than I expected. I've tried other brands with similar colour (orchid, I have dark hair) and this one hands down has been the brightest and best!
I bought this at my local big lots and it was rlly cheap, i did some strands of scarlet semi-permanent dye on my light golden brown hair and rinsed without any shampoo and let it dry, it wasnt even that messy though. Its a really rich red color when i put my hair in the sun. And im liking it . Im writing this in the first day though. I will see how many washes it will take for the color to fade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used both the purple and the bronze so far and I really like them. My hair feels textural better with the bronze and it ends up looking like great highlights.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this for the 1st time and the color was very bright on my dark hair!!
I was so excited to try this because it meant that I could have coloured hair without having to bleach it. I also liked the idea that it was temporary, so I could change colours and often if I wanted to. For first use, I tried on a thick strip of hair and it worked well. When I tried to use this a few months later, the liquid must have thickened up because it wasn't coming through the applicator. So, I tried squeezing the bottle and the colour started squirting out from the side of the applicator. To this day I've not been able to figure out how to use the rest of the product without having a huge mess. I may have to throw it out :(
