Was a little big but fit over the generator nicely.
This cover is advertised as universal. It has two holes sewn into the corners on one side to accomodate two pulling handles, typical of the Coleman series generators. I have a Troy-built, which has one handle in the center of the frame. That means I have to lift the cover to move the generator - no big deal. Having a pullstring in the bottom or a couple of velcro tabs would help secure it. Otherwise this is a great cover and keeps the dust and dirt off the unit.
As soon as I got my portable generator, I realized I needed to protect it from the elements. Walmarts generator cover would have been perfect as the quality was quite good, but unfortunately the cover was smaller than the stated size. 21"L x 15"W x 18"H would be closer to correct maximum size. cover was cheerfully refunded at local store.
good fit, i would like if it had bundgee cord around bottom.
The dimensions were good on the item. The material was a little light not like other covers I have got at Walmart. I did not know it had a opening on one side, I suppose it could make it easier to get on a generator but do not know why it would be needed.
Cover does exactly what it is intended to do. Beats the plastic bag that the generator was covered with in the box when it was originally purchased. The cover material is made with a light weight material. Don't expect anything more than the weight of a wind breaker. The cover does come with a small bag attached which does serve to hold any small generator related documents or parts. I purchased the extra large version to be sure that everything would be completely covered on my 7000W generator. The cover easily covered the generator including the wheels down to the floor. I did find this cover a little cheaper elsewhere but, previous experience with Walmart kept me loyal for this purchase.
Fits well and looks good, but not quality material. Thin and doesn't look to last. Expensive for what you receive.
Illustration makes the cover look thicker than it is. It is actually thin. It does look like it could repel serious rain, but I am not sure it would stop condensation in colder weather. The good news is that it covers completely.
It would not be suitable for outside use. The cover is made from a very light material and there are no straps or elastic that could tighten it up to withstand any wind. The product looks different from the picture.
When you first get the back you know you have made a mistake... The box is so small... The does FIT over the generator but unless you just want to keep the sun off of it you better have a plan B to protect it from the elements
