I like that this fits snugly over just the top of the fire pin---other covers I've had in the past went down to the ground....making the underneath of the fire pit an inviting winter refuge for critters. This cover is a good quality heavy fabric, it's waterproof, and it is constructed well. I expect that it will last a long time.

I bought this cover over a year ago and it still looks great .. a bit faded because it is on a deck that gets constant sun exposure facing the south, but incredible durability. I have since bought other Veranda covers for other pieces of furniture!
I'm a young guy just starting out in life and, as I'm sure many people can related to, it was a pretty big shock to the system when I realized just how much life can cost. The products I purchase I work hard for and, unlike when I was younger, there is a clear understanding of the actual value and cost of the things I buy that I simply did not have before I began earning my own way. So what it comes down to is that I want the things I have to last. I want to get the most out of the products I buy and I want my hard work not go to waste on low quality goods or from neglect on my part by not taking care of what I have. It's a tough pill to shallow sometimes at first but the cost of properly maintaining my gear, especially my outdoor gear like the fire pit I purchased this past spring, is worth every penny in the long run. That is why I'm taking the time to write this review because more than once I told myself it was not necessary to purchase this cover for my fire pit, but that was my youth speaking, my short-sighted side trying to make up excuses to not do what I knew was right. So I bit the bullet and as soon as the cover arrived I knew that not only had I made the right decision but that I was going to be enjoying my patio with my friends and family for many, many years to come. This cover, along with the other ones I purchased for my grill, and two deep seated chairs are the highest quality material I've ever seen for protection outdoor furniture and equipment. It totally blows my dad's old blue tarp and nylon rope routine out of the water, or into it as usual I guess is more accurate. These covers are meant to last and are extremely easy to not only place over fire pit tables but to securely fasten them on as if they were literally made specifically for my round table. They are sharp looking too and actually make my back patio look very esthetically pleasing. I've already received compliments from my neighbors and friends who have seen them. Considering the extremely high-quality and beautiful design and the fact that the cover is going to prolong the life of my table by years, the price is an absolute bargain. Basically, this cover adds color and style to my back patio while I wait out the winters and smile looking out my back windows knowing that it is going to pay for itself over time. The upfront cost of purchasing a Veranda model cover is absolutely worth it. Think Big-Picture, Think Long-Term, and Invest in this product, after much debate and browsing alternatives I can tell you with complete sincerity that I don't regret my decision whatsoever and could not be happier with my purchase. Thank you Classic Accessories for making such a quality product, and I apologize if I was a little off topic there at the beginning but I've always known I should take care of what I have but putting it into practice? Well, that's taken me over 27 years to finally embrace. But now that I have, I look forward to 27 more years of getting the most out of my outdoor furniture, especially this fire pit.
Very attractive. The material is extremely substantial. The handles assist you in placing over the fire pit, but you do need some assistance to assure a tight fight.
We bought this along with several other covers (table, grill, and bistro set) for our outdoor dining area. We couldn't be happier. The built-in elastic squeezes the edges nicely without needing adjustment. The rain (even a big downpour) beads up nicely and runs off easily. And the look is of high quality and does not detract from the appearance of the seating area at all. We'll be using these covers again whenever needed. Thanks!
The canvas material will be great to protect the product from our climate of extreme heat and rain.
