I was expecting this item to be difficult to put together. I had the whole thing assembled within an hour! I now have a place to get ready! It is very solid and a beautiful piece of furniture for the price!
I purchased this vanity set as a birthday present for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loved it. It will fit perfectly in their new addition to the master bedroom suite. The drawer space is perfect, table top sufficient and mirrors position quite nicely. It is a beautiful piece of furniture at a very affordable price.
I needed a vanity because there was only one small drawer for me in our master bathroom and my make up and hair supplies just did not fit! I am really happy with this vanity! It has plenty of room and drawers for all my needs. The color is a beautiful dark wood and it matches our bedroom furniture really well. I was able to put it together by myself, although it is a little heavy but I was able to manage! I think it looks beautiful and was really happy with this. I looked all over for a vanity that had more than two drawers and this was the best one I found. I was a little surprised at how small it looks. I am not sure if its because our bedroom furniture is big or because I thought it would be the size of a desk but it does look a little bit small, but I am used to it now and its actually perfect for me! It arrived with no damage at all and I put it together in about an hour. Love it and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vanity with plenty of storage and a dark wood finish!
So glad I read the reviews-especially the gal who said it was better than expected & VERY heavy because she was exactly right. You will definitely need help getting it in the car & in your house.It is in a very large box & very securely packed & very heavy. We picked up at the store & the guys helped put in the back of my husband's truck. Now the quality.Well it is wonderful & much better than I pictured for this price. I was more than pleased than I thought I'd be. I had one that was a little bit smaller with one drawer & my daughter wanted it so this was to be my upgrade. It definitely was.It is larger & The drawers are spacious & soo convenient. If I had to complain about 1 thing-it would just be that the staining on the bottom frame of the center mirror is not the greatest-which actually could be the way that piece took the stain-I can live with this. No other way to put it than I LOVE IT!!!! Thank you Walmart for this quality piece of furniture.
I simply cannot say enough about this vanity. I was expecting the cheaply made, build-yourself furniture that you typically find, but this was anything but! It was doubleboxed with premium packaging to ensure no nicks, cuts, scuffs or bruises. Once I dug out all the packaging, I realized (with great delight) that the bulk of the desk came pre-assembled. This product was built to perfection within minutes.The top unit (containing the vanity top and five drawers) was already built for me, leaving just the legs of the vanity and stool for me to assemble. A few quick screws to install the tri-mirror and BAM - Instant beauty! The drawers are on the smaller side, but with five separate drawers, there is plenty of space to store everything you need. This set is completed with a well built stool. It has plenty of padding for comfort and has quality legs that don't wobble. The cherry on top is the tri-fold mirror that you can bend and set according to your needs. I would definitely recommend this top quality vanity. This was originally going to be for my daughter, but after I saw the quality, I might keep it for myself :)
This vanity desk is beautiful. All three top drawers are lined with dark brown felt. The bottom drawers are big - I can fit my 1" straightening iron, along with 2 curling irons in one drawer with room to spare. The stool is very comfortable and although it looks "short" when you look at it standing up (I am 5'6") when I sit down it is the perfect height to be able to do my hair and my make-up comfortably without straining my back or my legs. It was really easy to assemble, with attaching the mirror holders being the "hardest" thing to do and it only took me 2 minutes to do that! I took off one star on appearance because the main desk was a little chipped on one corner but not enough for me to return it. It is barely visible and right now I'm the only one that knows it is there... everyone else that has seen my new vanity wants one and comments on how beautiful, elegant and practical it is! I love it!
I hesitated ordering because I don't like to order certain things online. I'm so glad I did. It is breath taking, absolutely beautiful. It was a little heavy. I took it apart piece by piece until I got it upstairs. I am very very very happy with it.
My husband bought me this vanity for mother's day. I've bought several items from Walmart before so I expected an average piece; to my surprise it was beautiful! Minimal assembly required and all wood pieces. For the price, I don't think we could have ordered anything better. I always dreamed of a vanity to put my make up on and I'm so happy with mine.
I had a back injury 4 years ago that makes it hard for me to stand when doing my hair. And I have hurt my neck and shoulders over the past year, so I decided now would be the time to buy a vanity since I have always wanted one. I was amazed at how little this one cost, the detailing on it looked gorgeous. I am on disability and needed to find a vanity in my budget. I looked here in Canada and couldn't find anything that was less than $500. When I found this one I was amazed, it is so cost effective and gorgeous! When it arrived I was disappointed though, the picture on here makes it look like it is more of a black espresso color. However, it is more brown than black. Which is disappointing because I have a dresser from Ikea in their black-brown color and it is actually more black than brown. I wanted this to be as close to the dresser as possible, but it's really not. It also only took 20 minutes to assemble so that was a bonus, however it is heavy and 2 strong people are needed to carry the main desk part. However, I do love the detailing and all the features. I am tall (5'10") and often have trouble with mirrors being too short for me. Even while sitting on the stool I am still able to see the top of my head in the mirror! Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a vanity.
The table is not a sturdy as I thought it would be it is a little shaky. But what it is used for it is just okay. The drawers wood and construction not that good.
