Arrives allready put together,a definite plus! Made of quality materials the sisal and rug are good quality! Base is wide doesn't tip over ,great height ! Both cats enjoy it~ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Excellent quality, size and price. My cat loves it! Exceeded expectations.
My cat likes to sit on the platform and scratches on both the platform and the pillar. It is reasonably attractive and doesn't dominate the room.
My cat totally wore out his first 20 inch scratcher so when I seen this one was a little taller, I thought it would work better for a full-grown cat. We had bought new furniture and was hoping he'd use the post instead of the furniture--and he does. It's heavy enough that it doesn't tip over when he's using it and it looks very nice next to my furniture.
Overall, it is a good quality scratching post, but there is a small hole in the top cup which allows the cat nip to fall through. So it had to be taped shut. Otherwise happy with it!
This was a very poorly made item. I have 4 cats that are not declawed and by the third day the carpet at the top was completely gone leaving a large opening......seems to have been made of some kind of cardboard beneath the carpet. And the rope part is still intact because............it is too short for them to use. The cats would have to be practically laying down to use the rope area to scratch. This is one of 'those products' that I've bought and ends up in the trash within a matter of days. Usually 'those products' are some kind of miracle lotion or potion guaranteeing youthful complexion that doesn't work. Okay, they've always been that until this very poor excuse for a scratching post. And even the fibbing lotions lasted longer!
