Clinique has great shadows & I love the quads which are beautiful little palettes of complementing colors. The color payout is very good, especially if you use a shadow primer, and I experience very little fallout during application. I only wish there were more choices than the very few which are offered year-round as regular stock. (The limited edition versions are typically very nice, but only offered a few times a year in gift sets.) These are great additions to a collection & are much easier to carry in your purse or while traveling compared to a lot of the larger palettes that are offered by some brands. However, it�s quite pricey to get just 4 shadows for this price while other brands offer palettes of 12 to 24 or even more in a similar price range. Will be picking up the limited edition holiday palette for a wider range of colors in addition to my quad palettes.
Jenna's Essentials is a perfect palette and all the colors work so well together! I love the Nude Shades and only stick with them as they flatter me the most. I love the staying power of the new formula and wear it with the New All About Eyes Shadow Primer. This is my favorite Quad:)
My daughter and I both love the first 3 shades in this quad. They make our blue eyes pop, especially combined with the starry plum cream shaper eye liner. I wish they would list each colors name, and sell them individually, because we tend to run out of the lightest shade much sooner than the other colors in the quad.
I was hesitant about using this product as the colors looked too dark, plus a pure white. I'm more for subtle color. I was glad it was matte, and not shiny. After I applied it I was truly shocked! A very natural look, yet it brought a nice attention to my eyes. I did use the darkest just thinly along the eyelashes. It is now my quick go-to quad. It does have a buildable quality for evenings out.
I love these eye shadows! All the colors are so beautiful, they're soft, and they blend like butter. I have the pink chocolate quad and the strawberry fudge duo, and I couldn't be more excited to try the other shade combos. Clinique always makes the most perfect eye shadows. I'm so in love!
I have tried many eyeshadows, but I keep coming back to Clinique. The only eyeshadow that looks flattering on me. As I age, I don't like the garish shimmer and overpigmentation many shadows have. Clinique is classic and timeless. I own Teddy Bear, Skinny Dip, Pink Chocolate and Morning Java. Looks flattering on my aging eyes.
I have been a Clinique customer since 1990. I absolutely adore Clinique's eye shadow line. The colors are rich, blend well and stay put all day long. I recently purchased the All About Shadow Quad in Pink Chocolate. Overall, the quad has everything I love about Clinique's eye shadow, but the glitter. As a woman over 40, I need a matte eye shadow which enhances my eye color, sans the glitter which makes me look like Effie Trinket from "The Hunger Games."
SO terribly disappointed to learn that my favorite shade of beige shimmer has been discontinued. I have been using this shade for years and it is the perfect shade to use alone for an understated, yet polished look. Of course I attempted to find something similar, but, sadly, there is nothing in the new line that even comes close. I ended up giving daybreak a try, but this is too light for my skin tone. Very disappointed with the new color selections that Clinique has put out. The single colors are almost impossible to use alone, and I really do not want to purchase a quad of four colors just to obtain one that might work. I hate to say this after 15+ years of wearing exclusively Clinique shadows, but it may be time to see what else is out there...
I have to agree with Pat from TX. Please make Matte palettes. I would love a the Pink Chocolate, Smoke & Mirror and Going Steady palettes to be all matte. Please make it happen! As of now I use only two of your All About Shadow Duos - Twilight Mauve/Brandied Plum and Seashell Pink/Fawn Satin. Two out of 16 combinations are matte. Very sad. You're missing the boat Clinique.
Ordered the quad in Teddy Bear. The photo online shows beautiful shimmery colors. What I received was a quad of dull, matte colors. I thought they had sent the wrong item. I have no idea why the photo looks so completely different from the actual product. Very disappointed. Will be returning.
