This was a beautiful color, particularly for an aging woman like myself. It is obvious that it is a high quality lipstick. Oh, how I love not tasting or smelling chemicals or fragrances in a lipstick. I have loved Clinique since I was in my 20's and every product I try just reenforces why I continue to buy their products.
I received a mini trial size and suprisingly, used it until it was gone! I loved it so much I bought a full size. I've never really been able to find a lipstick I actually liked until this, but never found one that I used all of... even if it was a trial size, I'm sure it'll be the same with the full size! The color is like my perfect shade and it's almost like colored moisturizer for my lips, it makes my lips feel so soft!! Long story short... I just love this lipstick!! So glad I found it!
I have allergies to all lipstick except Clinique. I like creamy and light lipsticks. This is both. I wear it all the time during the day and to bed. It gives my lips some color and keeps them moist.
Please remove the moisturizer strip in this lipstick. It makes the lipstick break down very quickly. I like the moisturizing texture but dislike the strip. Thank you.
Love the moisturizing part about this lipstick. The color was not a good choice on me but that's because I chose online instead of knowing from going into a store. I will try layering the color with another so I don't have to thow it away. Feels great on my lips
Color darker than it shows up on screen. Ordered Canoodle and it is just plain BROWN. Makes my lips look sinister. Also dryer than I expected.
I have used this lipstick for the past 10 years and am so disappointed in the new formula change. The new formula is dry and lacks the luster it once had, does not apply smoothly, and feels heavy. Why change something that was so great to begin with? Sadly, I will be searching for a new alternative for my beloved Sugared Maple and A Different Grape. Please bring the old formula back, Clinique!
I went to order Heather Moon long last lipstick and was told by the online consultant that it has been discontinued. I would need to order Heather Moon in Dramatically Different Lipstick Shaping Lip Colour. Well after reading all the negative reviews I have decided to look elsewhere for my lipstick going forward. I have been using Clinique Products (make-up remover, clarifying lotion, moisturizers, powder, eye primer, eye shadow, mascara, lip liners and lipsicks) for about 40 years! I am so disappointed that you keep discontinuing lip colors that I use. This is the 2nd color you have discontinued on me and the replacement doesn't even come close to the colors I was using. I think you should listen to these reviews and bring back the old products. Why change a good thing? Doesn't make an sense....
How about the BUSINESS RULE, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? For YEARS (maybe decades?), I used "Silvery Moon" shade of this ORIGINAL formula of Clinique's Long Lasting Lipstick as BOTH a stand-alone and as a top layer to "tone down" harsher Clinique lipstick colors as I am very BLONDE as the super-harsh Clinique colors don't look good on me. (Maybe in NYC, harsh colors are normal, but NOT here in Southern CA!). I was SO impressed with the ORIGINAL "Silvery Moon" that I have 10-12 away EVERY year in gift baskets for birthdays and holidays. EVERYONE LOVED the ORIGINAL and became NEW Clinique customers! Now, you bring out this JUNK and wonder why people are looking at better-priced, comparable products like NEUTROGENA. I encourage EVERYONE READING THIS to STOP BUYING Clinique (unless they bring back this ORIGINAL) and take a good look at Neutrogena. After being loyal to Clinique since I was 13, I am VERY disgusted that you, as a company, don't care. (And oh, BTW, I have an MBA, so I understand the need to do business "refreshes"; but CHEAPENING your products, is NEVER OK.)
I have been a faithful user of 16 Pink Chocolate for at least a decade and 06 Red Red Red for years. Both of these colours have discontinued. It is not merely a matter of finding "similar" colours or trying new colours. The actual texture (and therefore, I suspect, the ingredients) have changed. My lips feel and look chapped when the lipstick is on, and even after I take of off. Also, as more and more people suffer from skin sensitivities nowadays, consumers tend to stick to a brand and line of cosmetics for years. When you ticker with the ingredients in a product, it risks allergic reactions or intolerances. Did you not do any market research with consumers in the real world? Why would you discontinue a perfectly good product with a loyal customer base and replace it with totally different colours and ingredients? I am trying another brand of lipsticks for the first time in 15 years. (probably closer to 20 years).
