Cloud Microphones CL-1 Cloudlifter Mic Activator The plug-and-play CL-1 Cloudlifter is an inline mic activator that converts +48V phantom power from an audio interface, mixer, or preamp into +25dB clean gain. Cloud Microphones use JFET circuitry to couple with your preamp directly. There are no capacitors, transformers, or transistors in your audio path, so there's zero coloration in the boosted mic signal. This unit is safe to use with ribbon/dynamic mics because the phantom power doesn't pass through CL-1 to the mic. It is recommended to start with the lowest gain and then turning on the phantom power then slowly turn up the gain. TECHNICAL SPECS:
