I have another brand 's charger as well and it does its job but is challenged when it comes to completely dead batteries. This one has the juice to overcome even the most stubborn discharges. Tried out on a SUV that had been sitting with its dome lights on all day, ignition sequence only clicked, no dash lights. Connected the alligator clips, pressed the button, got all green lights on the charger and the SUV owner started the vehicle right up. didn't even have to go through a second sequence as described in the manual. Nice packaging with segregated components. Entire unit with accessories and case is about a large hard cover book size; fits in the back chair pocket of my vehicle.
This JumPack does exactly what it is supposed to do! It is not too large and very light weight, coming in a nice carrier with all the necessary things to charge a car battery or other items. The flashlight function is a welcome bonus. I did have occasion to put the unit to the test as my car battery was nearly dead. I simply followed the enclosed directions and my battery charged immediately. I have peace of mind, knowing I can take care of charging the battery without waiting an hour or two for assistance, definitely a worthwhile purchase!

I purchased the JumPack hoping for a better experience than I had with a previous similar product. I have a 2003 Corvette with just 22,650 miles on it which means it goes for long periods of time without being driven. Consequently I became very efficient at changing out the battery. Using the JumPack for the first time it was simple efficient and effective. Perfect! I am still a little concerned as I understand the units have to be charged at least once every three months even if they have not been used. Reading through the negative reviews this seemed to be the big issue, not being able to bring the battery back to life if it goes without the three month charging. But for now it's the perfect size, simple to use and IT WORKS.
Purchased the jump pack for my bass boat. I fish tournaments and have lost money because my batteries have failed and I could not return to the weight in site on time. I truly believe this purchase has eliminated the problem. The jump pack should be standard equipment in every boat whether it be for business or pleasure!
The only power charger that actually boosts all different models of vehicles. I am very pleased with it. I have a smaller one that I've had for 10 years and when I found this one I had to buy it too. I definitely recommend everyone to have one. Or two!
I purchased this device so I would have something in my car to jump start in the event of a low battery after many days in an airport parking lot. I received it only a month ago and can say that it immediately charged up, all the functions seemed to operate, and I like the size and functionality. I have not had to use it, though. We will be travelling soon and I will ensure it has a full charge before leaving and will leave it in the trunk while the car is in the airport lot. If I don't need to use it, I will look to see the level of charge that remains when we return. So far, it looks like a good purchase.
Arrived in 4 days just like promised. A little bigger than I thought it would be. It was charged about 70% , plugged it in and it charged right up with no problem. It has held it's full charge so just waiting for the unwanted need to use it. As always, Cobra is top shelf, I do not expect any problems.
I purchased a JumPack in 2017 and live in Las Vegas and of course it gets hot here in the summer. I prefer to keep my JumPack in the trunk of the vehicle to have for emergency use if needed, that's what its for, right? Well, my JumPack stopped working, will not charge and I do believe its because of the extreme summertime heat that ruined the device. Cobra states not to expose device in temperatures below -14 and above 113 degrees. So what good is having the device if you have to keep it at home in a regulated controlled temperature environment ??? Cobra, please develop a device that can handle extreme temperatures so I can actually have it handy in my vehicle for emergency use!
