I drove from Michigan to Alabama with this detector. Paid a great price brand new for it. Detector didn’t miss a beat, it gave alerts with great time to respond . Easy to operate, I trust this item.

I've had this unit working now for about two weeks and I'm impressed that it actually filters out a lot of the false alarms that my older unit wouldn't. It also has a better range of detection. For being just a basic unit it does exactly what I want it to do.
recently I got down RAD250 from USA. it works very fine with all X and K bands, but very poor in Laser detection. of course it detects all in built car lasers such as collision avoiding systems etc., but not the police laser gun. I've gone very close to police latest laser guns and they straightaway pointed out the gun to me but never detected. (Luckily I was at a allowable speed limits). I tried fixing the RAD250 in several levels on the windshield and as well as dash board. but never succeeded in getting laser detection other than X and K bands from local telecom towers and close by vehicles equipped with in built laser systems.
I gave it to my son and he loves it. I would like to buy one has well. It has saved him numerous times.
Radar picks up 90% of cops I’ve passed. X/k band isn’t really used by police anymore just by the speed traps on the side of the road so there are many false alarms. When it picks up Ka band though, 99% of the time it’s a cop.

This radar is a poor excuse for a radar an the company is even worse I called to figure out how to return it for another model or one that actually work over the process of me getting hung up on twice they processed to tell me I had to pay for the shipping an the cost of fixing the item I never experienced problem like that before maybe I can finally get my issue resolved cuz I didn’t pay all that money just to let it sit on my dash
I have gotten two units in a row that the beep is so low you can't hear it. I've called customer service and they sent a Pick up ticket for the 1st on. Had to wait a week to get the replacement. It comes in and in fact it is weaker. Called CSR and was told they would get a teck and call me back. Still no call back. Will ask for a full refund or upgrade me to the next model for the inconvenience and doing without, Not a happy camper!
Not once has this unit worked. A dps officer drove right by me going the other way and not even a beep from this.
