Works good so far. Great space saver.
super great. thank god for this jug. it is very helpful when camping. don't know how we got along without it in the past.
This is a little larger than expected when collapsed. It's about the same size as a 5-gal container I have that's made from similar material. The cap closes well, but isn't perfectly air tight. I'm surprised by the people complaining that this doesn't work like a sturdier product. IT'S COLLAPSIBLE! It's not sturdy, but flexible. The value comes from the space it saves (I take our backpacking and fill it from the river, saving the number of trips needed for filtering water). Having the lid on top is a nice design, since ones with the lid on the side quickly fill with dirt and debris as the jog rolls around. Material quality is satisfactory. My biggest disappointment was just in how big the container was, even when empty. I could crush two milk jugs into less space.
Was disappointed. Made of cheap plastic, this thing probably won't last long. For the same price you can buy something much sturdier that holds the same amount of water for less money.
This jug did not serve the purpose we intended. We were camping without any water and wanted to use the jug to fill up before we got to camp. We intended to rinse hands and brush teeth. The jug could not rest on its side forcing the person to tip the water from the top. This made washing hands or a dish impossible for one person. A cooler jug would have been a much better choice.
I bought four. Three leaked...on the first trip...and the fourth doesn't seem water tight. Other than that they are fantastic. One would not seal (tried everything. One had a leak at the seam...and the other had a hole in the side. Love how they collapse. great concept. Too flimsy.
I bought this for a camping trip. The first time I filled it with water and picked it up, the handle pulled away from the base and cracked open. This is now useless to hold any amount of water.
Arrived with a cracked/broken cap.
Cracked 3-4 days into canoe trip where we used it to hold filtered water. Was only expanded/collapsed 2... maybe 3 times. Collapsible design and size was intriguing. I knew better and should have listened to the other reviews. Hoping I can return and get a refund.
