As soon as I opened the bag, I began to violently sneeze. Soon followed by coughing, runny nose and itchy eyes. The squirrels are going to HATE this stuff. Next time I'll wear a mask and gloves when handling. But I'll be shocked if the squirrels keep coming back after one or 2 experiences with this mix.

This great for keeping squirrels away from bird feeders. It' also just the meat of sunflower seed so there is no waste.
This bird food is hot enough to keep the squirrels away but the birds love it. Fast shipping and great price !
Purchased this item to deter rats and squirrels from our feeders. So far, I have not seen anything other than birds on the feeder. We are seeing fewer birds, and I'm not sure yet whether that is due to the feed or if it is just luck of the draw. The prior "hot" seed we were using also tended to germinate on the ground. So far, this one has not done that. Still probably too early for me to give a full and fair review. The main reason i gave it 4/5 stars is the cost. It is at least twice as expensive as the product we used before.
