I am an older adult, and this product was recommended by my dentist to help reduce the occurrence of plaque buildup, tooth decay, and tooth sensitivity. I have been using it for about 17 years, and have noticed an improvement. In my product lives up to its claim.
Have been using Colgate Ortho Defense fluoride for years. It helps prevent cavities, and keeps dental enamel strong.
Does what is promised,good price.
My daughter was told to get this from her orthodontist to help with her brushing. Rinsing after brushing so anything that loosened up will rinse away. It does help improve her brushing, its hard with the bands
I think this is the best fluoride mouthwash
This has been my mouthwash for many years. I have a lot of fillings, so I want a product that delivers strong fluoride protection. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.
Orthodontist recommended and hard to find locally. Walmart has the best price and if you buy at least 3 you get free shipping. It was supposed to be a 2 day delivery, but I got it next day.
The taste was a bit nasty
My significant other uses this product, due to his braces, and I find that his teeth stay whiter with using this product, but it makes him quite thirsty afterwards. He found that if he drinks water AFTER flossing and brushing his teeth, it helps with his mouth feeling so parched. Is the product worth the price? Yes and no. Yes, because it keeps his teeth whiter, and no, because for such a small amount, the cost per bottle is nearly double the costs of a liter of Listerine. I wished that it came it in a larger size, so I would not be spending, in some instances, upwards of $15 per bottle.
The dentist recommended this product for my child who wears braces. The price is steep. I found ACT Mint Anticavity Flouride Mouthwash, 18 oz. with a higher concentration of fluoride (ACT 0.05% Colgate 0.04%). The inactive ingredients vary slightly between the two products. ACT price is about 1/4 the price of this product.
