I have heard so much over the years about trying collagen and all the benefits of its use that I was very happy to give it a try when the Sparks team offered it for review. It wasn't clear as to how often to try it so I've been using it once a day in coffee and my husband is also trying it added to his bottle of water. The dosage is a rounded scoop and according to the bottle there are 17 doses per bottle so I did purchase a bottle also so we both could try it daily for two weeks. I have only taken a few doses so have not really seen the benefits yet. One nice thing is that it dissolves very well in either. The container we have is vanilla flavored which is not overwhelming and the flavor is definitely not unpleasant. Being 58 years old, I am happy it is supposed to help fight the effects of aging and also is supposed to have beneficial effects on your hair, skin and nails. I've noticed as I've gotten older that my hair and skin seem dryer so hopefully will see improvement there. It does mention that the facility where it is manufactured processes whey milk protein and fish extracts so take that into consideration if either of those is a problem in your diet. I've taken this now for several days and have noticed no ill effects so I am pleased so far. Collagen is reputed to be beneficial and this is easy to take so I'd give it a try for yourself if you like.
The YOUTHEORY COLLAGEN POWDER with Biotin and Vitamin C, National Vanilla Flavor, 4.7 oz., is the best product I have ever seen about the health skin, the lost of collagen is devastating for the skin, but with this product you can recover your lost collagen, your skin will thanks you. The price is fair.
An attractive package containing a great tasting Collagen powder. This 4.7 ounce container is about a months supply. It is a very favorable vanilla scent. I use a full scoop, the scoop is included in the container, sometimes half of a scoop to add to my water, juices, smoothies and coffee. My favorite is the hint of vanilla to my coffee. This powder easily dissolves in hot or cold drinks. Full of amino acids, vitamin C, Biotin and Collagen this is a supplement I will continue to use. I love the hint of vanilla flavor. I have used it for a full month and purchased another because I can see a difference in my nails. They are actually stronger. I have not experienced any adverse effects. I have very dry and sensitive skin however, have seen a slight improvement. My hair looks good too, stronger. Over time I know the collagen will continue to help with my skin and the biotin is great for my hair. I like to take supplements because in my experience they work when I use them for a continuous amount of time. I definitely recommend this Collagen supplement.
My wife has been taking collagen in a powder form for a few years now and we decided to give this brand a try when it came up. My wife usually uses her collagen powder in a smoothie and mixes it in with her kefir and berries or a banana or other fruits. Usually she does this because of the bland or otherwise off putting taste of collagen powders. She decided with this one to go ahead and try it plain mixed into some milk. To her surprise it was not off putting in flavor or smell. It tasted like a vanilla pudding to her. This is a plus for her now so she can just mix it alone with milk if she wants to or she can put it in her smoothie as she has been doing and it adds flavor, instead of her trying to cover the flavor. I would say this is a definite plus for her and it is nice to have a product that, when it says it tastes like something, it does taste like they say. Over all if you are looking for a good powder collagen that mixes well and tastes good, this is for you.
I couldn't wait to try this youth theory collagen powder. I have have always wanted a collagen that is easy to find and easy to take. Usually I have to go to health food stores but not anymore. And usually they are pills which I get tired of taking , so I needed something alittle different and can give me the results I have been wanting. So this product comes in a 4.7 oz container which is a very nice size, although the product is about halfway full , it does have a serving size of 17 servings for this container so I am pleased with that. It does come with its own scooper. The product is a powder and has a nice delicious vanilla smell, makes u want to eat a scoop, lol so I tasted it. The product does not have a taste, which maybe nice considering you can mix a scoop in with your water, juice or coffee. I choose to try it with my morning orange juice. The product mixed very well, and most of all did not alter the tAste of my orange juice, I can't wait to try it will my coffee!! This product was very easy to use. I love that it also includes biotin and vit c which are great additions, I definitely can use a little extra of those . Great product and well made I would definitely recommend to my friends and family .
This collagen powder works for my nails making them grow faster and stronger. I didn't notice a difference in hair growth because my hair grows really fast anyway. I did NOT like the taste of this powder at all. I actually mixed it with water the first time and couldn't even drink it because it tasted terrible and had an unpleasant smell. When I mixed it with orange juice or grape juice, it was much easier to drink. Comes with a convenient plastic measuring scoop. This powder seems to work as indicated but it definitely didn't have a pleasant vanilla flavor. I highly recommend that you mix it with a strong flavored juice so it's tolerable and you're able to benefit from its use.
I Received my bottle of Youtheory Collagen Powder with Biotin and Vitamin C, Natural Vanilla Flavor, 4.7 oz. This is a small container, however the amount used is less than most of the bigger size brands. This has a 17 day supply. The smell is vanilla flavored and not bad at all. I use mine in a cup of coffee. It dissolves pretty quickly and does not lump. There is very little taste and it just kind of mild vanilla taste… not bad at all, but I put sugar and milk in my coffee. This formula is supposed to replenish protein in the body to help the body resist against dryness and fine lines. I will see how well it works after using it for 30 days or so.
I've used a few different collagen supplements and this one is not my favorite. While the vanilla flavor is fine, the powder doesn't completely dissolve in liquid. I've tried it in coffee and tea. It seems fine at first, but there is a gritty layer of powder at the bottom of the cup each time. As for the health benefits, I do recommend collagen. I think it provides the intended benefits such as better skin, nails and improved energy. I just think there are better options as far as taste and texture.
So i tried this out in my coffee. i use a vanilla flavored creamer so i thought this would blend in flavor wise great. Its just like a protein powder and eaily stired in. Flavor wise it taste similar to a protein powder. This cost a little over $14 bucks and it only has 17 servings so to me can be on the pricy side to me. I only hope that it actually works. i havent used it for a few days so im still on the fence. Overall its not a bad taste and easy to drink.

I was given the opportunity to try and review the Youtheory Collagen Powder and the following is my honest review. Collagen is something we all need. Collagen is the most plentiful protein in your body and is one of the major building blocks of bones, skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Collagen is also found in other body parts, including blood vessels, corneas, and teeth. Some call it the “glue” that holds everything together. And as we grow older {no matter what age you are now, you are growing older}. So do not give up if you cannot tell a difference in 6 weeks or 6 months, continue taking collagen because your body needs it. I have only had the Youtheory Collagen Powder a little over a week therefore cannot tell anything yet. I will be honest and state that I do not like the flavor therefore I mix 1 scoop of the collagen powder with one-forth cup of water, drink it then drink a glass of water. {I tried it in my hot black tea and did not like it nor did I like it when I mixed it in water with lemon juice and Stevia Vanilla Crème liquid.} I do plan to use one or more of the snack recipes that is on their website. I suggest that you mix in a smoothie or some other mixture; maybe a dark chocolate shake – like with So Delicious Coconut Milk Chocolate frozen dessert and Coconut or Almond Milk. My cons: Natural vanilla flavor is often not natural at all but made in a laboratory and are often not healthier than artificial ones. {some of the things vanilla-flavored processed foods may contain are definitely not anything I would want to eat.} Plus the Youtheory Collagen Powder did not have a vanilla taste, at all. Plus I did not like the flavor. The Youtheory Collagen Powder may work for you so I suggest giving it a try; even though I probably will not purchase this brand.
