I've had this dryer for four years and it's still going strong. That includes my teenage daughter using it almost daily for at least two of those years. This dryer is powerful but I love that it's not as loud as other dryers I've used before. I recently bought a new, slightly cheaper hair dryer so my daughter could have this one to herself, but the new one was so much louder than this one and it was taking so long to dry my hair that I stopped midway to get my old dryer back. So I'm here on Walmart.com to buy a second one and I hope it's as amazing as the first one!
This is an excellent blow dryer. It dries hair quickly. After using the blow dryer for two months, I noticed there was a switch at the bottom and on the back of the handle that said "on/off," which is presumably for turning the ionization on and off. It was kind of hidden, so it's possible many people won't see it and will be blow drying their hair with the ionization off--so make sure it's on if you wan't that shiny, manageable hair. I usually don't use the ionization because I'm looking for body and the ionization makes hair very smooth and shiny. Although on days when my hair is unmanageable, I will turn on the ionization. So, in a nutshell, this is the BEST blow dryer you'll ever find. I hope Conair keeps making this Infiniti, model 207P, for many years to come. I just bought a second one to have as a backup. PS-Don't forget to check the ionization button on the bottom and back of the handle to make sure it's on or off. An EXCELLENT deal!
Love this dryer. I have very long, thick hair. When I tried it, it was so quiet that I thought it would never dry my hair. To my surprise it blew dry in a blink and didn't wake up the house. It's also very light. 5 stars for this one!
I've been using this blow dryer for almost a month and really like it. My hair's texture is fine. I recently got a new haircut and switched from using a curling iron to a straightener. My old blow dryer was not a tourmaline ceramic ionic blow dryer. Using the Conair blow dryer, I notice my hair comes out so nicely I only have to use the straightener sparingly to style my hair. I use "Mantra Styling & Thickening Cream" and Paul Mitchell Root Lifter as well as a either a volumizing or texturizing shampoo & conditioner. All this combined with this great haircut has resulted in more good hair days than ever, even in the Ohio summer humidity which used to be my worst hair season. The blow dryer weighs more than my old one but after a few days I got used to it. It also has a 3 year warranty!
I searched for this hair dryer based on a review in In Style magazine and I was not disappointed. My $100 dryer died and I needed a cheaper replacement, this model does the job perfectly!
I did alot of research on hair dryers. Trying to choose one for my wife for Christmas. So far she really loves it. It has made getting ready quicker and easier. The only thing she said that is negative is that it is heavier than normal hairdryers. Since it drys her hair faster it does not get uncomfortable using it.
Let me just say, this blow dryer does exactly what it says. It made my hair so super soft like ive never seen before and dried it really fast without frying it whatsoever. My hair is still soft from the last time i used it which was about 4 days ago, so believe me when i say this.....its definitely worth buying if your looking to get those beautiful salon results and that gorgeous pampered hair. I love this blow dryer and all that it does, theres not one negative thing i can possibly think of after using this. I seriously would suggest picking yourself up one these before they run out, better hurry! :)
Have used this dryer for about 2 weeks and it does a good job. My wife especially likes the diffuser because it helps her retain waves and curls in her hair. I like the number of switch choices for both heat and air
This is a good hair dryer, but it took a while to get used to it. I usually use a leave-in creme in my hair while it's damp, then blow dry. When I did that with this dryer it left my hair feeling sticky and frizzy. I stopped using the creme, though, and since then the dryer has worked great. Overall, I would give this product a 4 out of 5 stars.
This dryer is well made. Sturdy. Quit. Which is very important when I'm getting ready for work at 5am. It's not too hot. I don't risk burning my long hair. Love the ion feature. My hair never gets frizzy. Excellent product. I would recommend it to my friends. Would prefer a more feminine color.
