The Conair Sound Therapy Clock Radio w/10 Sounds is exactly what I wanted. I've had more fancy and much more expensive electronics before but that was before I found this product. The product is s-i-m-p-l-e to use (you don't even have to read the instructions just to set the alarm, for instance)...it is intuitive and user friendly. Also, there is a dimmer switch so if I want the clock light brighter or dimmer, I merely move the switch. I LOVE the sound offerings...rainfall is my favorite. Also, I LOVE the fact that the alarm clock will awaken me to any of the buzzer, radio or sound therapy! I LOVE this product. Thanks, Conair and WalMart.
This was a perfect purchase for me. It is so easy to use--does everything I expected and completely satisfied with my decision to purchase the Conair SU7 Soothing Sounds Clock Radio. It puts you to sleep and wakes you up to whatever you want--radio or wonderful sounds. My former product was a Homedic, which I loved and used for 20 years without problems. I am looking forward to having the same great experience with my new Conair.
I have had one of these clocks for several years. I bought the same one again. Although the clock, alarm and radio worked well, eventually the sound started to sound garbled for the various modes. It was just worn out from yrs. of nightly use as I would leave it on all night to help me sleep. I didn't even think that it would last as long as it did. I finally replace it. I love it. Conair makes great quality products and I would recommend it. The only thing I don't like is that it is hard to set the alarm time You have to hold 2 buttons down at the same time for 3 seconds.I have coordination issues due to M S so it was hard for me. Also the light at night on the clock face is too bright even if dimmed so I turn the clock to the wall to help with that.
I bought this because of the variety of sounds to replace the jarring noise most alarm clocks make. Unfortunately, the only sound it will use for an alarm is running water. That is still nicer than a beep. There are a LOT of small buttons, so finding the right one to turn it off takes some concentration.
It is impossible to read the time unless you are within 4 feet and looking straight at the screen. The screen is a very bright blue even on the dim setting. We put a sock over the face at night because its so bright. Our old one was a Homedics brand. Liked it so much more.
The radio portion of this product does not pick up stations with clarity. The nature sounds are very short before they repeat and are of vey poor quality. Because this is not carried by Wal-Mart I attempted to return to Tri State Camera, the supplier, but with shipping costs and a 15% restock fee it was not worth it. I now know why this product can be found for resale in Ebay.
I bought this for my daughter to help her sleep. It worked great for maybe a month. A few hours after it is turned on now it makes a beeping noise instead of the sound therapy. Very Disappointed!!
Can't see time display, unless you are above the unit, has a repeat of 15 sec of sound not good if your ears are really in tune, and return is a joke, cost more to return than worth will be just trashing unit
Alarm not loud enough. Hard to change from radio, sounds and alarm. You can have them all playing at once. Didn't keep the box so cant return.
The item arrived in a box crushed on both ends by FEDEX. the system turned on for only a few seconds and then did not work at all. Cheaply made. Return was easy at local Walmart.
