My last hair dryer went out, and after buying and returning two different hair dryers, I order this one and fell in love. The attachments stay on and work great. I love the brush attachment mainly because it hold on to my hair as I dry it. I bought one that it just blew the hair but would not grab it, and the other dryer the attachments would not stay on.
Never have been able to dry my hair using a separate brush and hair dryer simultaneously. This SOLVES the problem. I dry my hair first without the brush and then add the brush attachment to smooth and style. I love that the brush is designed with sides enclosed so extra air does blow on your head and ruin the hair style. I also like the two speeds as well as the cold shot. I have purchased this product before. I like it so much that this was an extra in case the original one that I purchased ever breaks.
Having natural curly hair I have used this type of blow dryer for sometime. Conair has proven to offer the best features and usually outlasts the other brands. I purchased this model because it featured snap in attachments - the last Conair dryer I had the attachments slid on but did not stay on. This model also offers a swivel cord attachment which should help prevent cord damage. So far this dryer seems to dry, relax and style my hair faster which helps minimize damage! WalMart's price was much lower than purchasing from Conair directly but I did not like having to use site-to-store (takes too long).
I usually always purchase hatchet style dryers as they are the easiest for me to maneuver my head with and this is the best yet. Some people said it was heavy for them but for me it was fine. I am bi-racial and have thick wavy hair and my daughter has curly hair and I have no complaints.
I needed to upgrade my dryer it was over 12 yrs old. I wanted something that had latest blow drying technology but did not cost a small fortune. This dried my hair nicely. My hair was nicely prepared for flat ironing after blow drying. I have relaxed hair. I do feel the attachements are a little tricky. If you are frustrated or in a hurry I can see breaking an attachment end when putting it on. I will be careful :) otherwise excellent product. I am satisfied.
The dryer is everything I wanted in a style dryer! Its light, and easy to hold. My main concern were the attachments staying on, and because you can lock them in place they can't come off while styling! I think its a great styling dryer and easy to use! Thankyou.
I HATE when people give reviews after one day/use. Anyway.......Love this hair dryer!!! It's functionality suits my needs. The heating options alone are great but the cool option makes it better. I have thick curly hair & The styling attachments stay connected the entire time. Great buy.
This product lasts for 4-5 years with daily use before it needs to be replaced. This most recent purchase has some great new improvements such as the clip-on brush and the swivel wire that make it even more valuable. It straightens hair and gives it a great shine without drying it out.
I originally bought this thinking it would cut out a step w/ my styling. I have straight hair that has a little wave to it, and I like it that way. Before I was sectioning off hair and rolling it w/ brush and hair dryer to smooth the ends, but it still left my wave. This dryer is all about straitening, so if that's what you want, you'll love how easy it is do execute. Pros: Fast drying, straightens w/o even trying. cons: if you want the option to have something more than stick straight this isn't the one.
I have thick mexican wavy hair and the styler did not leave my hair straight like i thought it would. I still had to use my straightener afterwards, it is better then using a hair dryer but it will not leave your hair like the girls in the box, and the first time I used it, I did not use any hair products, the sencond time I did and it turned out better. Im guessing that with more practice I'll get the hang of it, it's only been 3 weeks.
