My original Revere Cookware tea kettle was over 40 years old when the whistle finally broke. The rest of it still works perfect. I had to order this replacement online since no one carries in stock, but it was worth the extra money for shipping. Lots of cheap tea kettles available but you get what you pay for. "They don't make them like they used to?" Revere Cookware does.
I love this kettle. They last for years. Great size, convenient way to stop the whistle if desired. This was a gift.

Revere has always made a great tea kettle. Heats quickly. The larger size would be better for pots of tea.
I bought this same tea kettle approximately 26 years ago and have loved it so bought again. Material MUCH thinner than the first. Oh well. Its an overpriced tea kettle that works so not returning it...too much hassle.
