If you like lightweight and practical Corelle dinnerware, you're going to love the new bakeware made out of the same vitrelle bonded glass material as the plates and bowls. This stuff looks brand new after many years use and is so light compared to ceramic bakeware....it's perfect for microwave or oven....very easy to clean, too.
I purchased this set as a "get by" option when the corningware roaster I'd ordered arrived in pieces 2 days before a dinner party and this was the next best thing I could find in stock at the store. While the larger dish is a tad smaller than the roaster and not the oval shape I had desired. I found them to be indispensable when I started cooking for my dinner party. And an added bonus is that they fit in my microwave. Don't know what I would have done without these. I went back and bought a set for my mom!
This corningware is truly light weight. I love it!
