I like the ability to find my favorite CovergirI makeup. This pressed powder comes in a variety of shades to choose any complexion, skin type, or desired look, and works well with your other Covengirl makeup products. I like havingone in my purse anytime Ijust need a touchup.
Just what I was looking for
I started using this as an oil blotter when I'm out and about. I keep it in my purse for those touch ups needed. It is a pressed powder so it takes some pressure to get it going.
I'm a 45 year old, fair skinned redhead & I've been using Covergirl Clean Pressed Powder since it came out. I have really dry skin & this is the only powder my sensitive skin can tolerate. Also, it's the only powder that doesn't settle into my fine lines.
I have been purchasing Cover Girl for over 30years, but this compact case, (I have bought 3now) all have broke. At the hinge. The plastic/metal is too skimpy to hold the weight of the compact w/mirror.
I just realized that I don't seem to learn from experience when buying face powder! I just found that I now have FOUR compacts in varying degrees of fullness in my make-up drawer that can't be carried in my purse because the hinge breaks every single time I buy this product! I do love the powder and I guess that is why I was in denial about this problem with the styling. I have read a lot of reviews about this on-going problem and to date there has not been a fix to it because I just bought another one recently and it has already broken! good grief. Sorry to say I won't buy any more of this style as much as I like the quality of the powder in them.
why?
Terrible. Ordered two and although they were the same shade they were two different cases which shows they were old. They were scratched up and the cardboard they were in was partially open and quite worn out. Where did you find these?
Flimsy compact: i've been using cover girl for over 20 years and never had a problem with my compact top breaking off. It seems that the new style of compacts is not well-made, within a week or two the top snaps off and I end up having to wrap rubber bands around it to keep it closed so it doesn't get all over my make up bag. I'm not buying this compact again, it's embarrassing to pull out my makeup with rubber bands around it.
I received my box on time, but when I opened it I found that my makeup came open from the packaging. and when I check it, it comes damaged. I didn't expect to find it like this
