I like a nude lip this product is creamy doesn't leave lips feeling dry and it's a lot of variety of nude colors well worth the money will use again and again and would recommend to people A good product for mature lips
I love Covergirls new lipstick shades! The only thing I would improve is that it wears off quite quickly. It keeps your lips fully moisturized, but the color fades quickly.
The color pay off was definitely there, but you do have to line your lips to ensure the lipstick does not bleed outside of lines. My lips ended up feeling dry after using this formula compared to other lipsticks, so perhaps apply a balm beforehand but then it may not last you as longer.
OK, I've read these reviews to learn that I have to sharpen vs twist this pencil. Here's the thing. This is NOT intuitive. If this many people cannot figure it out then there is a design problem that needs to be solved. Why wrap it in plastic at all? As for the actual sharpening, I'm shaking my head at the CoverGirl response that after you get through the plastic for the first sharpen, it's like any other pencil. Ummm, you get why even having to tell people that you have to get through the hard part is crazy don't you. I'll give you a 3 because the the colors are great, and the actual liner does an amazing job, but I'm at a loss with the fact that CoverGirl thought this design was a good one. It's too much trouble, if I actually had to come on line to learn to sharpen through plastic, and then try that and realize that's almost impossible. But OK, CoverGirl, after I've done the impossible, I can continue to enjoy my lip liner. Thanks, but I'll go with a liner that's better designed and not a hassle.
There is no way to sharpen a plastic pencil. I keep reading responses from Covergirl that read this pencil as not being mechanical and needs to be sharpened. But my question is , how do you sharpen a plastic pencil? There is definitely a flaw in the mechanics of this pencil and should be fixed. It's like trying to sharpen a mechanical pencil. That makes no sense at all.
I just got this product. Since the pencil is plastic, I could not sharpen it. I read on the reviews that the response from covergirl is to use a sharpener, I went ahead and purchased one. Now it will not keep the tip. The tip keeps breaking off. It's difficult to sharpen and once you're there, the tip breaks off. Since the pencil is plastic, it feels like sticking an ink pen in a pencil sharpener. It's really a poorly made product.
It took several attempts to figure out how to sharpen. I finally successfully used a regular cosmetic sharpener with a small hole that was just slightly larger than the size of the pencil. I pushed with pressure while turning and it did finally sharpen. Although, one of the pencils I bought I had to break the thick plastic end off with a pliers before I could get it to sharpen. Covergirl should state on the package that it is not self-sharpening! Feels like deceptive marketing by not telling me that I have to also purchase a sharpener in order to continue to use the product after the first couple of times.
The pencil color itself is nice, it glides on and stays put on my lips. But when you use it down to the bottom, you cannot turn the pencil so new color comes out—you cannot sharpen it, either because the casing is plastic. Awful and disappointing.
I purchased this thinking it was a mechanical pencil. I spent way longer than made sense twisting the end trying to make it work. The material surrounding the product apparently plastic that would not sharpen. After reading some of these reviews, I tried it and it worked. Either provide a sharpener, or the packaging should indicate that a sharpener is needed.
I've never reviewed a product before ever but this is about the worst thing I've ever wasted money on! I have a cosmetic sharpener and it does not sharpen the pencil. Like another reviewer I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to twist it up before reading these. I finally broke off the end and tried pushing it up with a q tip like someone else suggested but that didn't work either.
